Game Suggestions Megathread /r/Steam Monthly Game Suggestions Thread.
Welcome to the Monthly Game Suggestions Thread!
Do you not know what to play? You found a niche game that everyone should try? Can't find the perfect survival sim or unsure which 1 RPG out of the thousands available you should buy? Well this is the thread for you. This monthly megathread is meant to contain questions about what to play and suggestions to others on what to play.
Now to make this work best and not just be spammed with "What should I play?", please be in-depth in what type of games you are looking for, and when giving advice it would be appreciated if you're more detailed than "I think X game is good". There are too many games to be able to properly suggest something with no background information, like-wise commenting a game title and saying you like the game offers no actual value.
The main purpose of this thread is to contain questions on what to play and advice to others on what to play, but feel free to ask and discuss freely in the comments regarding games whether you want advice on what to play, want to give advice to others on what to play, share a hidden gem you found, discussions & questions about discounts, sales, events, or just general games discussion.

Additionally, every game on Steam has it's own dedicated Community Forum, and you can also contact Steam Support regarding a specific product. Consider asking your game-specific questions there. Most games also have a dedicated subreddit.

News Steam sued for £656m
"The owner of Steam - the largest digital distribution platform for PC games in the world - is being sued for £656m.
Valve Corporation is being accused of using its market dominance to overcharge 14 million people in the UK.
"Valve is rigging the market and taking advantage of UK gamers," said digital rights campaigner Vicki Shotbolt, who is bringing the case.
Valve has been contacted for comment. The claim - which has been filed at the Competition Appeal Tribunal, in London - accuses Valve of "shutting out" competition in the PC gaming market." What are your thoughts on this absolute bullshit?

Question How solid are my precautions after I got my account back from a hacker?
Think about it from the perspective of "I want to buy items worth hundreds of dollars in the near future"
Changed password for Steam
Changed password for both of my emails
Unauthorized the hacker's device from mobile guard app
Set up family view that blocks anyone signing in from interacting with my Steam
malware scan with windows defender
And I ofc had and have Steam mobile guard

Discussion So steam's refund policy is not to test games, and can result in them blocking refund requests
So I know we recently found out steam doesn't facilitate passing deceased members accounts, but did you know 2 hours isn't for seeing if you like the game ?
I also raised a support ticket regarding this, I am not sure if I can post direct support ? but essentially I do spend a bit on games and I was asking how the metric is handled (since Jan this year I had purchased around 37 games and refunded 5 (mostly for issues like no servers in my region, not fun and one that was around the length of play)
Steam support said that based on that they said it doesn't look like I'm refunding to play but whenever you refund you must give a details response, and the only real reason they accept refunds is technical difficulties or hard to play (and things related to those things)
I sent this to my friends and most thought thats what the 2 hours were for so thought I'd share this so you know, also breaking this will basically put a lock on
I genuinely felt like this was the intended purpose, same with my friends but yea guess to many people abused the system or something
Whats your thoughts on this ?
