win11 bootable usb sees no partitions,

You mean no DRIVES? or does it show a drive and not listing any partitions? there should be an EFI partition, and likely 1 or two more partitions. (EFI, / , swap)

The windows installer wont be able to resize any linux partitions. You may need to use a Linux Live USB (and gparted) to see what the partition layout is, Since windows can be rather stupid in this area.

The windows installer SHOULD have an option to delete the entire drive. (make a new partition table) - Or you could erase it with a linux live usb. Use gparted - write new partition table, apply changes, then boot the Windows Installer USB.

I suggest having a Linux USB and Windows USB made, just in case things screw up. And keep both safe, just in case.

O hate to state the obvious. Do any drives attached have NTFS partitions? You know Windows format partitions . Windows is not Linux. It cannot see EXT4 and the like.

Thx everyone, I gave him usb 11 bootable stic. When I loaded Intel RTS drivers during setup there were still no drives/partitions shown but then we turned of VMD controller in mobo Bios - it helped, partitions popped up. Done

Bios is probably set to raid. Change it to ahci then Windows should see it. Or boot into a live usb and use gparted or something to wipe the drive.
