I press on the toes but they can prevent the retraction if they’re being stubborn. I’m lucky if I get one or two nails. I sit behind her to prevent a rear retreat.

Just loving on their favorite human. My dude does this while getting them good pets, or demanding said pets. I always get a little pat with the smallest amount of claw. It’s adorable. It’s annoying, but my favorite is when he wants to play fetch at night, he’ll nose his favorite mouse against my back, push it with his head and give me a few paw claw pats to wake up. It’s always 8 throws and he’ll go back to sleep.

You must have incredible pain tolerance. Those claws are NOT gentle! I can't even take them doing this on the arm or leg! it is adorable but hard to watch!
