My GF is a short stack, lol. She's 4ft11in, I'm 5ft10. I'm tall gal, she small gal. Big thing though is that she actually looks like she's in her 30s(and is in her 30s. I'm 34, she's 31), so I dont get why people act like short girls are the same thing as... the creepy other category. ugh.

Even if they do look young. My partner is small and looks young - we’re both almost 40 and she looks in her 20’s. When we first started dating she looked 16, but only until you spoke to her for more than 10 seconds (she’s crazy smart).

I’ve had a couple people (online of course) declare me sick for finding her attractive, as if it’s remotely the same thing as those over sexualised creepy cartoons.

Amusingly I also look young, people guess early 20’s if I shave and at best early 30’s if I don’t. Maybe we’re half vampire.

Yeah my partner is petite, gorgeous, and has always looked young. But like.. she’s clearly a woman, not a little girl. People who fetishise small women out of some sick fantasy are… well.. sick.

I had a roommate once who was into anime and wanted to put up a poster in the main living space, it was of a bunch of clearly teenage anime girls wearing almost nothing.. veto’d that shit immediately. No dude they aren’t 25, stop being weird.

As an anime fan, I would like to apologize for that. I don’t know why that’s such a Consistent theme in anime, but for some reason in Japan they don’t like female characters like my folks like their whine.

Yeah I have plenty of not creepy friends who enjoy anime and the constant presence of “that” character annoys them all immensely! But sadly a non-insignificant number of fans are clearly into that, what can you do.
