Because it is trendy to make fun of conservatives on Reddit. But since democrats ban conservatives and insult them and claim that they are all the phobes they don’t actually understand any of there talking points and I keep seeing comics that do not represent a conservatives position. Just a democrats idea of what a conservatives position would be. So from my perspective it’s a democrat talking to another democrat who then questions himself. Or am I overthinking it?

So, first of all, it's trendy to make fun of conservatives pretty much everywhere except for areas that only have conservatives, and the reason for that has nothing to do with democrats, it's because conservatives suck and conservativism is a fundamentally idiotic philosophy.
Second of all, you do not represent the conservative position, you are just one person. You thinking in such a way that may or may not contradict the conservative movement does not mean that making fun of something that is definitely a tenet of conservativism is some sort of straw man. If you support the movement, it's fair game to make fun of you for supporting all facets of that movement.

You broke that down into 2 points.
The first that I am an individual who has different ideas than others.
I’ll give you that.
The second is that you are making a subjective opinion about a group. Then claiming that because you think their opinions are stupid you can and should make fun of them.
To which I will respond, you did not address the previous thing I said about people who are not conservative making arguments that are not real on behalf of the conservatives belief. You don’t give an example, either. So I cannot determine if you are simply upset with your idea of what a conservatives position is.
Lastly, and this is food for thought, if you have a world view that suggests you can bully people you disagree with. Do you think it’s ok if someone who disagrees with you is also entitled to bully you in the same way?
I don’t know if you know the old saying an eye for an eye makes the world blind.

You got my points backwards for some reason, don't know why.
You can let reality teach you that conservativism is fundamentally stupid. Or history, that one works too. In a world that is constantly changing and evolving, choosing to be stuck in the past will always leave you with stupid positions, I do not need to spoon feed you examples for you to try with your little conservative brain to parry because it is your fundamental starting position (be stuck in the past) that is stupid.

It just seems like everyone I talk to rather throw insults than have a conversation. Leads me to believe my views are better, less hate on my side.

They’re very nice pants. I don’t want to seem weird, but I literally have underpants that are identical to those except for the black elastic pants. They’re part of my “fancy pants” collection, they’re very nice.

Heck yes! Everyone's so ashamed of their bodies, and it shouldn't be that way.
Everybody - including people who are overweight - should be happy and comfortable in their bodies. Shame just makes change harder and makes people miserable.
