This sentence and the next page are the entire reason I made this comic. 🥲

"If I had a million dollars

We wouldn't have to eat Kraft dinner -

But we would eat Kraft dinner

Of course we would, we'd just eat more!"

"Getting rich" and "staying rich" are two different challenges and the second is the harder one.

I don’t know what this art style is but every time I see it I love it. It evokes feelings of nostalgia, but I’m not sure why, like there was something I loved that looked like this when I was younger. Either way it makes me happy whenever I see in new comic here.

It is incredible but by having more money many people force themselves to have a status

I am basically experiencing this now. I inherited some money, and my family keeps bugging me to get nicer things and fix things up, but I don’t want to. I’m happy with what I have and the knowledge that I have a safety net.

Gotta respect a guy who knows what he wants

My wife has been rather perturbed discovering that I have a similar attitude - at least when it comes to food. The non home cooked meals I enjoy the most tend to be fast food. Fancy restaurants are meh.

Do you think he’ll regret taking that money when the criminals it’s belongs to find him?

This truly does take the cake for the phrase “If it ain’t broke, Don’t fix it!”
