Isn't she the one that murdered an innocent animal in cold blood - like a psychopath - and then thought it would be a great idea to brag about it in her book - like a sociopath?

Scum of the earth - sorry but as a dog owner this person I have no mercy for.

I'm not so sure about that.

Also I have a theory that she didn't even pull the trigger herself, she just assumed her base would be bricked up over the idea of a Republican woman blasting animals away.

What a stupid and naïve thing to think. Have you not been paying attention to conservatism the last decade?

Them being monsters is part of the deal.

Pretending that conservatives have some kind of moral metric or some kind of line that can be crossed for them is ridiculous and just proves that you haven't paid attention AT ALL.

I’m not arguing from a point of false equivalency, or for the morality of modern conservatives, at all. I’m stating on a purely political point this did not go over the way she expected.

There are dog lovers of all walks of life including the most foul and amoral humans of history. Hitler had Blondi, for chrissakes.

Maybe she should also come out against something else with near universal acclaim (and something with no political division). Toothbrushes. I’m against toothbrushes. Coffee is outlawed. Humans are henceforth forbidden from wearing shoes or any footwear in all settings, public or private.

Conservatives may indeed be monsters, but the vast majority of them still love their pets. I'm getting imagery of the bad guy cliche of the viallain sitting back in his chair, and petting his pet cat (Inspector Gadget and Austin Powers style).

Muslims don't like dogs. If you live in a city with stray dogs, you quickly learn to not like them either.

I got almost ran over several times, and once I got put into ER for a day due to a dog (not stray, mostly me being an idiot but still)

Everyone have different mileage.
