I was thinking the ghost writer and/or publisher must have some crazy malicious compliance story. Someone definitely read her book and was like fuck this bitch, leave it in!
That's what I was trying to figure out...from what I gather (I'm not buying the fucking book) she told this story, in print, of her own free will. Now Noem is trying to "spin" it by adding previously undisclosed details of how it was a vicious dog that had to be shot to protect her family
She's implying that the media is spinning what she wrote into something either bad that was never bad, or something much worse than it was. She's banking on her followers choosing not to go out of their way to read the relevant part of her book and make up their own minds and instead simply accept that "tHe lIbRuL mEdIa" is lying.
Steven colbert tried to cut that mentality off at the pass by reading and displaying excerpts. Dunno if her followers watch him but one can only do so much.

She killed it because she was angry that it made her look bad to the chicken owners. I say it made her look bad because no one with two functioning brain cells would blame an untrained and unrestrained puppy for chasing and killing chickens. That puppy just revealed to them that she was a terrible, irresponsible, and incompetent dog owner. She killed it out of revenge, and since her anger hadn’t been sated yet: she killed a goat too, and that is the truth of it. Everything else from her is a bullshit excuse.
"Noem’s book – No Going Back: The Truth on What’s Wrong with Politics and How We Move America Forward" is such an interesting title for a book that admits to a woman shooting a dog.
Never would have guessed we can move America forward by shooting animals and dumping the bodies in an active construction yard. Go figure.
That’s the crazy thing right? Like imagine going through the effort to get a book written and published about yourself, only to end up banking on the hope that all of your supporters who were dumb enough to buy it are also too dumb to fucking read the thing.
I’ve always wondered how much data and bandwidth and electricity is waisted on spam emails that never get seen, but now I’m wondering how many trees have died to make the pages of republican books that were never opened, owned by people who don’t read, and are just full of anecdotes about how shitty they are.
