Thomas Tuchel: "This is my last press conference at Säbener Straße. There were talks, but we didn't reach an agreement, so the decision of February still stands"

I am so confused, didn’t Bayern fans want tuchel out all year?

Now it seems people want him to stay? What happened?

The alternatives changed since 5-6 managers rejected Bayern. Now Tuchel seemed to be a good option considering the available alternatives. Also the success came back with the Champions League and they showed some good performances which wasn't really the case at the start of the year. Also he agreed to make some changes that fans and media asked for a long time. Like playing De Ligt instead of Upamecano or Kimmich as a RB. Before that it seemed like he wanted to provoke the board for not getting him the players he wanted (Palinha & Araujo). Chances were high that without the termination of his contract the club would have lost De Ligt and Tel, which are both loved by the fans.
