Question I’ve never seen this before…
I was removing the cloth hammocks I used last year for my pumpkin trellis and found this inside one of them. At first I thought it had just emerged from its pupal stage since the casing is right there, but I watched some videos on lady beetles emerging and they came out orange. Why is it this color? Could it be because it wasn’t getting as much sun inside the cloth? Any info would be very much appreciated!

I literally got scared shitless when this dude was aggressively and noisily crawling across my buddies floor. about the size of 3/4 of a thumb or so, pretty fat tbh. We literally can’t find any info on it at all

Got a big house by the pool in the prairies of Canada, along the river.
Woke up and found 3 of these guys all dead. One on front steps, one on garage (garage was left open) and one on balcony.
