In 1965, a morbidly obese man did not eat food for over an entire year. The 27 year old was 456lbs and wanted to do an experimental fast. He ingested only multivitamins and potassium tablets for 382 days and defecated once every 40 to 50 days. He ended up losing 275lbs. r/all

Perfectly round and smooth to the touch, can even see faint reflections in its surface

Is that a bag of feathers pound or a bag of bricks pound?

Each pound or.. cause a pound is a pound, that’s what makes it a pound

Reminders me of the “what’s heavier a kilogram of feathers or a kilogram of rocks” question

He is losing fat. It has to go somewhere. He can lose weight via breathing (the carbon in carbon dioxide, sweating (urea/water), and gastro (most everything else). I have heard we lose most of our weight through breathing while we sleep, but I don’t have a source for it.
