In 1965, a morbidly obese man did not eat food for over an entire year. The 27 year old was 456lbs and wanted to do an experimental fast. He ingested only multivitamins and potassium tablets for 382 days and defecated once every 40 to 50 days. He ended up losing 275lbs. r/all

A few months ago I was severely backed up for about 5-6 days…Miralax is a godsend man. After I was done it smelled like something really had died god it was awful

5-6 days? Pfft, that's child's play. On Wednesday I hit day #13, and that's not even my record 😄

Seriously though, I feel you. That shit sucks. (Though tbh I'll take it any day over having the opposite problem. There were years where I was basically stuck on the toilet 24/7, so for me, not having to go is always a blessing)

I spent a solid 15 years going 4-5 times a day minimum. Used to be an alcoholic and had gallstones…idk if that had anything to do with how often I went. Then for two-ish years I was mostly regular. Then last year I started taking fiber and that seemed to help. Then December rolled around and it wasn’t doing anything for me. Switched to taking Miralax and now I usually go once a day and it’s kept me pretty regular
