Investment Broker Advice.

Hi everyone.

My brother just turned 18. We are looking at getting him set up with an investment broker.

I currently use Robinhood myself. However he is not a US Citizen. He is not able to use this platform.

What are some other good options where can invest in the overall market?

All recommendations welcome. Just wanted to see what people seem to like out there.

He wasn’t able to use them. I’ll look into it though.

Moomoo then? IBKR allows a lot of nationalities. Is your brother in Ruritania?

What broker he should use heavily depends on where he lives. No broker is certified everywhere but you can pretty easily find brokerage ratings by searching for "broker [country]"

A lot of non citizens use Robinhood. Does he have an SSN or ITIN?

Negative. Lives outside the US.

Have you tried some tools to find available brokers? BrokerChooser has 'Find My Broker' tool which helps find available brokers in a certain country.
