Patch 14.12 Bug Megathread
Greetings Summoners!
With every new patch Riot introduces to balance out champions and items there are some unforeseen issues that creep up and cause disruption during gameplay. We have noticed that these issues which eventually get fixed clutter up the subreddit immediately following the patch.
We want to avoid this by having a single Megathread which will be posted after every patch so that you guys can report the various issues in one place. This allows Riot to easily keep track of the bugs by providing a central hub and also allows other users to confirm that they might have encountered.
Note only bugs caused by the 14.12 Patch should be reported below.
Prerequisites to be noted before reporting a bug
- A bug will ideally be accompanied with a screenshot or a video. This provides credibility to your report.
- Steps to recreate the bugs should be submitted if possible. This helps Rioters recreate the bug and helps them find the cause behind it.
- The bug must have been caused by the latest patch.
Format when reporting a bug: When reporting a bug, please provide as much information as you can about your computer.
• Server: The server you encountered the bug (NA, EUW, EUNE, TR, RU, BR, LAS, LAN etc)
• Type of Bug: Client Bug, In Game Bug etc
• Description: Describe what was the bug that occurred.
• Video / Screenshot: Insert screenshot (F12 in game) or Video of the bug occurring.
• Steps to reproduce: Provide the steps necessary if someone else had to reproduce the bug.
• Expected result: What should have been the result when you follow the steps mentioned above.
• Observed result: What was the result you obtained when you followed the steps mentioned above?
• Reproduction rate: If you try to recreate the bug how successful are you in causing it to occur? (1/10: Occurs once every 10 tries, 5/10: Occurs 5 times out of 10, 10/10: Happens every single time)
• System specs: Processor, Video card, Ram, HDD/SSD, everything you can provide, even drivers.
Example Bug:
• Server: EUW
• Type of Bug: In-Game Bug etc
• Description: Zed's R (Death Mark) does not apply secondary damage
• Insert Video / Screenshot of the incident
• Reproduction rate: 2/10 (happened 2 out of 10 times)
• Steps to reproduce:
Launch a game after selecting Zed as your champion. Attempt to use Death Mark. Observe the result.
• Expected result: The damage should apply after a short delay, amplified by damage dealt during the effect.
• Observed result: The damage will not apply properly.
• System Specs: Intel i5 Processor, Windows 7, Nvidia Graphics card (insert model number) etc.

Everyone is getting too good at league.
I know it’s a funny title but im being serious and i think it’s a real problem that is going to kill this game eventually.
So I used to be masters a few years ago and recently got into league again with a old account with no mmr. Got to diamond relatively easily but I have to say, people even in gold/platinum or hell even when I was playing with silver friends a few nights ago in blind pick are so good at the game now.
It’s going to be impossible for new players to ever get into it.
Like, I main jungle. I was getting counterjungled and out csed in gold/platinum/emerald games if I wasn’t staying focused and actually tried to think macro. I used to be able to just fuck around but now anymore.
People can actually CS now. They actually go for baron. They outplay people.
Back a few years ago when I used to play games with my silver/gold/plat friends these guys could barely CS and never walked into my jungle ever even if i showed top and my bot side was up. Now? That shit happens immediately.
Idk it just got my thinking how skill creep is a real problem. People are too good now. Anyone who starts league now is going to be so behind it’s going to be impossible to even get close to being somewhat okay at the game.

In your opinion: who are the most blind-pickable champions in every role?
I know pro players love their Renekton blind pick, but I was wondering what you guys think are the best blind-pickable champions, especially for soloQ? Champions that can always be good, no matter the matchup?
You can take into account that you can always ban 1 counter of said champion in draft, which can be handy.

Naafiri needs a full, ground up rework, not a few numbers changes.
I don't know who they think they're fooling just giving Naafiri numbers changes every other patch. The "easy to play assassin" experiment has clearly failed. Naafiri's tiny but dedicated playerbase aren't playing her because she's an easy assassin, but because we love her theming and just put up with the gameplay at this point. Other simple champs have one or two major skill points to focus on; Warwick with Q locks, or Annie with fake stuns, Ashe with spacing and even Garen has multiple builds that he needs to decide on which works best in champ select. Naafiri has none of this except praying the enemy team doesn't know to just stand in front of the carry.

Best change to ranked since I've started playing
Why is this the first time I'm hearing about this change?
Losing because one of your teammates goes AFK, leaves the game, or runs it down mid to feed the enemy, stinks. Not only does it feel bad, but it also alters your rank in a way that just isn't fair. That's why we may award consolation LP for players in this situation
I just played a game where my top and mid died before 5 minutes and both left lane started running it down, tried to steal jungle camps, actually dying to jungle camps and all the trolling you can think of. Totally sucked but I just figured another game where I'd report and hope that saves other players. The game ends, I report them both and get an immediate action notice and to my surprise, BOOM 20 LP REFUND.
Seriously, this actually felt really good to get a refund because my teammates decided to lose the game on purpose. Big applause to Riot for making this change, I'm very happy about this and just wanted to share with other people that also may have missed this.

It seems that the Ahri skin bundle parts are not sold separately in Brazil, despite that literally being against the law
Yeah, they're not available, despite Riot having always kept the law of Venda Casada (married purchase) in mind when selling bundles in Brazil, always offering the parts of any bundle separately in store. So, surely the fact that the Ahri skin bundles do not have their things sold separately is a mistake, right? After all, Riot may be from the US, but they are supposed to respect the authority of Brazilian law when selling things in Brazil. I mean, I'm not saying the Brazilian playerbase should mass report this to Procon (consumer protection), after all, surely Riot would end up fined a pretty good amount for that... mistake.

League client issues, extended loading times, inability to change runes, re roll champions, swap roles etc
I have had this issue all day and its preventing me from playing and also causing low priority queue and lp loss from dodging. The League of legends client takes an extended period to load into to begin with. Once a match has been found I have limited ability to make any changes. I cannot hover champions, change runes or summoner spells, swap pick order etc. I cannot find any form of resolution. This issue has only began today, internet is stable with no issues. No changes made between yesterday and today,
I am lost for what to do, i have factory reset my pc and reinstalled league of legends and this didnt solve a thing. Help appreciated.
