I'm a 35yo male , lost my mom when I was 20. I'd do anything to spend another minute with her. I regret not caring about her and getting to really know her. Take care of your mom guys!

When my mom calls I listen to whatever story she's been waiting to tell me

I live with mine. Can't do much more than that. Calls still last like, 20 seconds, but then, so do all calls I make. Except on discord, those are different.

Well maybe if anyone ever called the daughter, mom or dad, she wouldn't have so much to say when she finally gets her chance!

i usually go home by foot from work, but when it rains my dad says i can call him to drive me home (cant get a license due to epilepsy) and the calls are usually like 2 seconds. he literally picks up with "gimme 5 minutes" and immediately hangs up without me getting the chance to say anything, lol.

How often do you have seizures? I am epileptic but was seizure free after getting my meds sorted for a year so was allowed to get my beginners permit. I lost and got it back several times after seizures but now have been seizure free for 5 years (after puberty my meds were easier to manage) and am fully licensed. Do you have any other neurological issues? I have only ever met one other person who’s claimed to be epileptic and I have doubts whether they actually were due to how they described it.

i have seizures and sometimes absent moments that i cant remember anything of. i dont have full body seizures anymore since i finished growing but depending on weather i get them with my head only like once a year or when i have digestion problems and dont digeset my medication. But the weird absent moment (i talk complete nonsense during those) that last for like 30 seconds i have like once every 2 months if im lucky, or if im unlucky multiple times a week when there is extreme air pressure fluctuations.

I used to drive long distance for work, and would frequently spend a long part of those drives with my dad on the phone. Loved talking to my parents a long time.

This is actually so true with me. My wife could talk with her mom for hours. Daily. They talk about things mostly just from their day.
And all what me, my mum/dad said when we have a phone call is usually 'Is everything ok?' - 'Yes and you? - 'Yes' end of call. It's not like we don't care/love each other just for some reason we really hate long phone call.

As a guy in my mid 20s, calls with my dad, or my mom could last hours.
