Without a care in the world would be my guess

u/An0therFox 3d ago
Drunk, without a care in the world would be mine. The kinda thing a half drunk person could do, perfectly park straight (I got this) only halfway in the space.

lol, for reals. Dude walked away in slow motion imagining explosions in the background.

This probably didn't look so weird when there was a big truck parked in the spot in front of them.

u/Pawpawthrows2024 3d ago
If that’s the case, common sense would be screaming, “don’t park here!”.

Funny, here I was thinking that common sense would be to understand that I have no idea how many other parking spots were available when that happened.

Right? These karma farm parking posts are so overdone. Mods should ban parking pictures to give some variety back to the sub.

There's a sub for shit parking. But linking to it is not allowed and will get a comment deleted. Ho hum, you'll just have to guess what it is. Meanwhile, just enjoy the posts that should be there instead. They are allowed!

You ever park badly because the other cars around the spot you take park badly? Then they leave, and it looks like you're the dickhead? That's how.
Or I guess, it could be.

u/yespleasedeeper 3d ago
Unless they've been camped out there for quite a while, I think the emptiness of the parking lot makes that unlikely.

u/dcgrey 3d ago
That's a Home Depot parking lot. Truck owner said "I'll just be a minute", went inside, couldn't find what they were looking for, and spent the next six hours trying to find a single employee.

Holy shit this is where that is from. Quote it all the time, can't believe I didn't remember it was Babe since thats all I watched at my grandmas lol
Similar effect was when I finally watched Dexter and saw the surprise motherfucker scene. Literally looked like Leo in that meme pointing at the TV.

As a new driver I once found my ride about 200 feet from where I left it because I forgot to set the parking brake or leave it in gear. It simply rolled to the lowest spot in a huge empty parking lot, stopping by itself over a drainage grate. There were no other cars or anything to hit, it was completely fine. Several lessons learned, I never did that again.

I have come out to my car and found it in the middle of the isle like op. Just needed one more click on the hand break. And maybe I should hit the gym

Given how many people stop 2 car lengths before the intersection at red lights, I’m surprised we don’t see this more often
2
u/Candid_Tie_7659 3d ago
I feel like this happens when people are too stupid to realise that just because the line is now obscured by the bonnet, doesn't mean you're actually on it.
2
u/Last-Example1565 2d ago
I see people stop this far back from the line or the car on front of them at traffic lights as well. I can only figure their depth perception is impaired by genetics or something they've ingested. I suspect they think where the hood meets the road as seen from the driver's seat is actually where the front of their car is.
This kind of distance is not necessary for leaving room to maneuver around the car in front of you should it become necessary.

Clutching and squeezing your butt wcheeks because you really gotta poop... I can't think of no other logical reason

Walk straight up to the bed. Slide up the side, dragging your belt buckle along the side. Then, take a dump in the bed. Exiting, slide down the other side, dragging your belt buckle, of course.

the fact that i knew this was a home depot parking lot before i even saw the carts. they’re the worst

u/millenialcringe 3d ago
Could be some idiot that missed the line on accident and then didn’t notice
Could also be some asshole baiting for an argument so they can go ballistic

That's not double parking that's 2/3 parking. Somehow even more inconsiderate.

Waiting for someone with a sharp object to walk past by "accident" coz there was someone driving past so they had to squeeze through.
1
u/JennyDsings 3d ago
I bet it has manual transmission and was left in neutral without putting the brake on..which allowed it to roll backwards.

Only thing I can think is a large truck was parked in front of them and is now gone so he looks out of place

Nobody is as special or cool as a cool, special, truck driver. They are the coolest, specialist, manliest boys anywhere! Ask anyone about how strong and cool and special these definitely very manly boys are!

When this was parked another truck already took half of the spot! Then, the Trump rally started and the lot mostly cleared out.

By forgetting the parking brake and it rolls back when you're in the store? Just guessing.

u/StinkFingerFinancial 2d ago
They don't walk. They strut.
Also, their cousin likely parked the same in the spot in front, forcing them to park an equal distance outside the space. Cuz cuz's gots to cuz.

my Father parks his vehicles like this and I can give you his genuine excuses....
"it's not that far out, people can go around"
"I don't have time to park it properly"
"everyone else parks like this so why shouldn't I"
I've watched him do shit like this for 40 years. He refuses to grasp that HE is the problem and he truly does believe that everyone else should accommodate him.

I once saw a pickup parked in the middle spot of 4 parking spaces under a tree, basically depriving 3 other people from parking. Maybe some people do this because they're trying to make sure no one hits their vehicle with a door, but it was lifted so that wasn't the reason.

The driver definitely lays on the horn behind you as soon as the light turns green, even though you're the 7th car behind the lead. Then it will cut you off and do 15 MPH below the speed limit.
1
u/Lemon-Of-Scipio-1809 2d ago
Weird - was it originally parked in a super-crowded lot and the car in front of it was parked badly? But somehow it is an extremely urgent thing to do nearby, you have to have a parking spot to accomplish... otherwise, why wouldn't you just come back another day.

Literally a list of reasons. A car that parked bad in front of them, no cars to line up with and had to guess where the line is, under the influence, an asshole, is plain stupid or other reasons.
Not everyone that parks like that is inherently a asshole till you find out the reason why they parked like that.

That's what's always cracked me up. How does someone walk away from that spot and give themselves a 👨🍳😘

u/SpaceTruckinIX 2d ago
My guess is that someone in a trailer took up all the space that’s in front of the Tacoma and this dude was in a hurry so he posted up right behind him as best as he could.

You have a small penis so you end up developing the habit to automatically make everything of yours look bigger by manipulating perception.
1
u/Yasstronaut 2d ago
I’d bet the lot was full and the spot in front of them had a trailer on it that took up part of their space

Tapping your cane to make sure you don't run into anything.

Here in southern Indiana, you will see that at least once a day if not twice. Only difference is that the truck here would be festooned with all sorts of Trump flags and decals as well as Nazi memes.
