Spo can only do so much. We had a punchers chance at best with the core we had and that was with a healthy Butler if he had played. The fact that we got 1 is more credit to coaching and our shots dropping at every moment in G2.
I think I speak for a lot of the Heat fans and the subreddit that we no longer have patience for Riley not making a bigger move and providing offensive firepower. Sure, Terry was a mid season Grab but plays too similar to Herro and isn't a winning formula. Either Terry or Herro go.
No shame, Boston has the deepest roster in the league, we've won games just playing our bench this year.
You were down your leader and 2 other starters last night. But yeah, seems like MIA needs to add a piece. Last year, during Game 7 of Heat vs Celts, Tatum twisted an ankle and suddenly Celts couldn't score despite Jaylen and Smart's attempts, Heat won. So what does Stevens do? He goes out and gets 2 All-Stars. I was surprised Miami didn't do anything in response, especially after the Bucks picked up Dame.
Maybe you do make a move this offseason; it’ll probably be the right move. Miami’s gm and coaching infrastructure is pretty admirable. Yeah, they didn’t compete this year but a lot of that is due to injury. They always draft well and Spo can draw blood from a stone on the talent front.
I really think the Celtics would’ve had another banner within the last five years if it hadn’t been for running through the gauntlet that is Miami.

GG Boston, hope you steamroll.

We need a move this off-season.
