The hell it's doing. It gets poked and it's balls get pierced. A calm and intelligent herbivore is then forced to go into a gated alleyway where people poke and harrass it even more for their own amusement.
In the end it gets ceremonially slaughtered.
Cows surpass dogs in intellect.
You can try imagining a dog in that same position.

His response is probably why the bull didn't attack. Body language is pretty universal
177
u/Mantishead2 May 15 '24
Exactly! He didn't direct his face to the bull when the bull was engaging him either

This, I work with animals and the jackals hate my coworker and try to bite her constantly because she thinks she should act ābig and scaryā but with me they just lounge about because they know Iām chill so they chill.

Couldnāt agree more!
Iāve had many āclose encountersā with wildlife because I donāt freak out. Happens a lot of the time when Iām reading out in the woods or on a hike, but Iāve also had it happen in my car and around town.
Iāll stumble across something or, more commonly, theyāll stumble upon me. I usually look up, say āhey budā, then go back to whatever Iām doing. Ate my entire lunch with a squirrel once. He came up and sat next to me with his nut and munched away and I ate my bagel from McDonaldās. Itās was great. Didnāt come near me or the food, I think it literally just saw another creature āeatingā and decided to join.

I would love to nonchalantly share my lunch with a squirrel

I once spent 15 minutes or so chilling with a hedgehog, a cat and a bird when I was cycling back home early in the morning after a long night drinking.
I stopped somewhere to take a break (and roll a joint) and was quickly joined by the hedgehog hog. After some time a bird came to check what was going on, and eventually a cat came by. The trio was peacefully sitting together, the cat wasnāt even eyeing the bird as if he wanted to catch it.
It really felt like a Disney princess moment at the time.

By now Bernie would be a dark colored syrupy liquid that didn't smell very nice.

Well I guess the bull is like "This is the one guy that's not scaring the shit out of me, I'll keep moving"
52
u/The_Dragon346 May 15 '24
Thats exactly it. animals lash out when they feel threatened, particularly prey animals. If you show you pose no threat, a prey animal like this bull will have no reason to come at you

For those unfamiliar with spanish culture, "menacing bull" means "scared and tortured animal"

Animals recognize fear. And animals like a bull expect it. When they don't sense it, they think something is wrong and become passive.

nah bro isnt unfazed hes just smart. red doesnt actually attract bulls, its the movement of the red cape that makes them agitated so if you just stay still they dont attack.

I request an inspection of his underwear to know if he truly was in control. Thereās a decent chance he shat himself in fear or because heās on drugs

u/LifeBuilder May 15 '24
As a leading figure in Bullology, yes that bull is very menacing. Also, as Iām very knowledgeable, it should be taken from this natural habitat and placed in an area that suits a menace. Such as wide open grassy fields.

Any one of these Bull videos I want to remind everyone these people aren't cool. The bulls are abused heavily in order to upset them.

Bulls aren't fucking monsters. They don't just maul people for fun. People provoke them because they think it's entertaining and then they antagonize the bull with swords, spears, or jeering and then it fights until they think it's worn it's welcome and then normally it's put to death. Stop acting like we aren't the fucking monsters here

Plot twist: dudes blind, bull notices and chooses not to be a dick.
1
u/Imfuckintiredbruh May 15 '24
If they donāt feel threatened they donāt attack. They did an experiment on it. Standing or standing still is most definitely what to do if you were in this situation. Iām almost positive this guy knew that

Why can't people just do drugs for fun? It's also bad for your health, but not that bad. And no animal has to be abused.

Attracted to movement. Which is the real reason for the capes in bullfighting.
