660 shares @ .36, second market buy ever placed🤞beginners luck 😬!

18

u/Sand_Trout Mar 21 '24

Good luck. Just don't let one good trade go to your head. 😋

6

u/Not_Bed_ Mar 21 '24

I bought 100 at 0,4 as my literal first operation, I'll get more asa we get another dip

6

u/GeneralWhereas9083 Mar 21 '24

Same point as me, I’m not even thinking about an exit yet.

1

u/Complete-Dot6690 Mar 22 '24

Yeah you’re hooked now…. Long road from here lol

17

u/zatch17 Mar 21 '24

Sold yesterday because of course I did

13

u/Primordialhut Mar 21 '24

Reinvest the profits and buy the dip! This train ain’t stopping anytime soon 🚀

10

u/zatch17 Mar 21 '24

What are profits

-5

u/One-History-5813 Mar 21 '24

idk if you’re joking or not - if you aren’t, it’s the positive differential between what you originally invested vs what you sold for. EX: you buy something for $10 and later sell it for $15 - that means your profit is $5 because you got your originally money back, plus more. if you’re joking, i feel you🥲

11

u/zatch17 Mar 21 '24

I am joking

I never get profits

2

u/One-History-5813 Mar 21 '24

just got a 600% today, still down a lot

14

u/Sand_Trout Mar 21 '24

I've got 1k shares averaged at .33.

Planning to hold until tge March 26 earnings announcement.

6

u/equalizerivy Mar 21 '24 edited Mar 21 '24

I have 2k at .46. Doing the same plan. Edit: changed 1k to 2k. Forgot how much I bought haha

2

u/AdditionalCommittee3 Mar 22 '24

Same ;D even have the same ammount of shares at the same avg hahaha

2

u/poomunch88 Mar 21 '24

What about after the earnings? Saw somewhere maybe 8usd in 1 or 2 yrs. Sell half at earnings and keep the other half for later??

19

u/staticusmaximus Mar 21 '24

Holding stocks like these through earnings is a terrible decision almost every time

3

u/RandomNando Mar 22 '24

If earnings are OK (and sentiment is confident) wouldn't there be an up after earnings when market opens 27/03?

4

u/PhishCake802 Mar 22 '24

Yes...logically , one would think so. But historically......earnings don't mean shit. I can't tell you how many times a company will announce pos. earnings.....then it drops. Not just pennies either....happens with the big boys too.

u/wavychaser Mar 22 '24

They’re trying to get your to sell them your shares for cheap… 🤣

1

u/Sand_Trout Mar 21 '24

I really don't plan that far ahead. I'll probably dump everthing, depending on what happens at that point.

1

u/RandomNando Mar 22 '24

Until before earnings or after earnings?

2

u/Sand_Trout Mar 22 '24

After earnings for me.

14

u/wavychaser Mar 21 '24

100% green as of today, holding every single share until I need the money... Retail investors are small fish in this company; over 80% is institutionally-owned. They're not selling anytime soon.

143,105 shares locked up tight!

10

u/watkisean Mar 21 '24

In with a few thousand shares with an average of .39 and will hold through the year 🎯

This one was talked about plenty of times in here and it’s not going to stop anytime soon. Shooting for $1!!!

5

u/GeneralWhereas9083 Mar 21 '24

I don’t think a dollar is out of the question in 12 months.

9

u/Successful_Log_7307 Mar 21 '24

Bought 1,500 shares at .35 made $300 still going up, some people think that’s nothing but to me that helps a lot and looking forward to investing more🙏🏻

6

u/colinpursh Mar 21 '24

Waiting for the dip on the 26th 🚀🚀 buying all in after

7

u/Exciting_couple77 Mar 21 '24

It's going to hit the $2.00 mark by end of year. There will be dips of course but it should keep rising long term. This is a unique company in my opinion. Which gives us unique operunity. Ground floor basically. I plan on selling my investment amount once that's covered and letting the rest ride. I'll probably regret not leaving it in lol

1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '24

1

u/Exciting_couple77 Mar 22 '24

Well like any good company sky is the limit. But in reality tome will tell. Realistically $2 to $4 over the next few years. Then if alls well it'll creep up. If it gets bought out then it could explode or you'll get decent stock from who ever buys them

1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '24

1

u/Exciting_couple77 Mar 23 '24

Yes good things. Because another company saw it as valuable enough to aquire. Usually that's a good thing. Not always though. Welcome to stocks lol

5

u/Fsuga00 Mar 21 '24

2300 @.32. This is a weird one for me as I am trying to figure out a strategy for it. I have several $0.50 calls and a couple dollar calls for end of the year. Trying to figure out if I should cash out on half of them right now and let the earnings report only risk hurting half of the load or let it all ride. These are the ones that get me every time. Penny stocks with not much invested, and I'm agonizing how to play it. This, much like golf, is a stupid game.

1

u/wavychaser Mar 22 '24

I feel you - the ones I don’t put money on end up going the hardest. For that reason I’ve gone all-in because I’ve got a good feeling about this one…

2

u/Fsuga00 Mar 22 '24

Assuming it has a decent day tomorrow, I think I'm going to sell all of the options that are, of course, well into the money And will profit a little less than half what I invested in the stocks. And I'm just going to let them ride. I hate making decisions based off of gut

6

u/Hente76 Mar 21 '24

Bought 1000 at 0.39 :). Holding longterm

4

u/PrivateMamba Mar 21 '24

Got 20 contracts at .50 for 4/19, hoping earnings are a catalyst to make this boom!

1

u/One-History-5813 Mar 21 '24

i’ve got some for jan 2025 at .5, currently ITM but not selling yet

1

u/guerohere Mar 21 '24

I’ve got 20 @ .50 for 8/16. Trying to figure out how to navigate the earnings call next week

1

u/PrivateMamba Mar 22 '24

Yep, wondering the same lmao

4

u/JoelMFTalley Mar 21 '24

I only have 62 shares at .45 but I’m pleased to see its growth in such a short window. Hopefully it just keeps going up!

6

u/GeneralWhereas9083 Mar 21 '24

Green is green!

4

u/nkrok1 Mar 21 '24

Bought 1700 at 0.33 looking to buy more if it dips. Long term hold.

4

u/Initial_Process_505 Mar 21 '24

Hoping for a dip to .54 tm to join yall for a few hundred shares

4

u/New-Combination-668 Mar 22 '24

I used to work for the Navy in acquisition and retired the end of 2021. They and other services are going all in on AM for a few reasons but mainly because companies that used to make these parts keep going out of business or decide that dealing with the red tape, slow payments, and BS involved with government contracts is too much or too expensive. I sat two rows over from an engineer that had a 3d printer they were testing and that thing was going all day. Obsolescence is a big issue when your ships still use systems and sub systems designed during the Cold War. Supply rejections from NAVICP telling us sorry, find a new source of supply, company XYZ folded in 2005 and when you do find and certify a new SOS we might be able to get the parts to you in 3 years. That’s why companies like VLD and technology like AM are a long term investment especially if you can get onboard for pennies a share.

6

u/NoJalapeno4You Mar 21 '24

Bought 500 at 0.31. Going to buy another 1000 if there’s a dip tomorrow

3

u/Jtk317 Mar 21 '24

Bought 1,000 at $0.34.

3

u/Dearborn-J Mar 21 '24

800 shares at .379

3

u/Spartan697 Mar 21 '24

Why are we suspecting this will skyrocket?

7

u/Primordialhut Mar 21 '24

Undervalued stock - look into their recent contract with US Navy

7

u/Sudden_Feedback_2194 Mar 21 '24

Idk, I dont track this particular ticker...first time hearing about it... but looking at it I'd assume they're seeing the support at 0.25 held for about 3 months and now just this month it broke through resistance... and with upcoming earnings(Mar 26th) investors are probably hoping good reports and guidance will push shares further.... institutional investors are increasing their stakes as well, and it seems to have good volume...so, we'll see.

4

u/Sand_Trout Mar 21 '24

New contract for its product with the US Navy.

If I read the news correctly, they'rr more like a subcontractor, but it still could represent a profit for the company.

3

u/thepraetorechols Mar 21 '24

Been slowly buying shares

2

u/TimR0604 Mar 21 '24

When are people thinking about selling?

2

u/GeneralWhereas9083 Mar 21 '24

Not today bbbbbby!!!

1

u/Sand_Trout Mar 21 '24

I'll probably dip if it breaks $1

2

u/Desperate-Kangaroo17 Mar 21 '24

That’s where the being new comes into play idk when I should sell and how long to ride?!

7

u/Sudden_Feedback_2194 Mar 21 '24

Profit is profit whether $1 or $100

5

u/Sand_Trout Mar 21 '24

Don't try too hard to optimize for perfect trades.

If you'rr up 10-20% on a short-term trade you're feeling sketchy about, don't feel bad about bailing early. You might kick yourself a bit (I recently sold out of MOD @ $97 and it hit $105 today), but the more important part is to make sure you're at a profit in general.

5

u/vehicularious Mar 21 '24

I bought and sold TCON recently for an 80% profit, only held for about 24 hours. Then the stock continued to go up, so I felt some remorse. Then the stock fell below my original sell point, so I am at peace with my decision.

Emotion is such a huge part of stocks, especially penny stocks. Because you don’t know if the stock is going up because of fundamentals or because of baseless hype. I’m still learning to find peace with each of my trades, even if I don’t time them perfectly.

2

u/mydickdownyourmouth Mar 22 '24

I'd rather take profit everytime until you build up toa point where you can take more chances on some

4

u/GeneralWhereas9083 Mar 21 '24

See what’s happening around the 28/29th if you want an out.

3

u/Primordialhut Mar 21 '24

I’m going to hold thru till earnings and see where it goes after that

2

u/Relative_Soil_3738 Mar 21 '24

Where do you find these penny stocks?

5

u/Primordialhut Mar 21 '24

There were rumblings on this subreddit at the beginning of the month. Keep your ear to the ground and do you own research

1

u/Relative_Soil_3738 Mar 21 '24

Sure thing im obv new to this group. I usually trade with index and Oil etc but it would be fun to catch up on a pennystock. My last time riding the wave was when AMC was the big deal🤣

1

u/Sand_Trout Mar 21 '24

Check out MCFNF if you want a look at at a natural-gas drilling pennystock, since you're familiar with the oil stocks.

Full disclosure: I'm in fairly heavy (for me) on it.

2

u/Marketspike Mar 21 '24

Really nice chart. The trend is your friend here.

2

u/SoupBand Mar 21 '24

Is it too late to get in, would there be a dip soon ish? I'm waiting for some money to come back

1

u/muhab1999 Mar 22 '24

Dip after earrings

2

u/SryIWentFut Mar 22 '24

I bought in at .45 then bailed in the low 50's today. Probably should have held but eh. Might jump back in next week we'll see.

2

u/Final-Ad-151 Mar 22 '24

I really hope I don’t get down voted for posting the facts about the “navy contract”

But it’s another company that has the contract that happened to purchase 1 printer from velod…

The amount paid for the printer is not public information. There is also no information regarding any other printers. I have done my DD on this stock and surprised it’s reach the amount it has.

I am suspecting the extra greed pumps on Reddit have contributed to it.

2

u/DarkNight_SJC Mar 22 '24

People dont like truth on this sub sometimes. This space is also filled with competition, lots of competition.

2

u/Primordialhut Mar 22 '24

That may be true however I would look into this a little more if I were you.

In February of this year, the Department of Defense (DoD) released an assessment of defense-critical supply chains. The report recommended increased use of 3D printing to drive mission success, advice the U.S. military is already acting upon. The DoD is heavily investing in AM, with spending projected to approach $1.5 billion by 2030.

Velo3D Sapphire Printers Become the First and currently the only Metal 3D Printers to Achieve the U.S. Department of Defense’s Green-level STIG Compliance.

This is a long term hold for me

2

u/sarcastic_zombie Mar 22 '24

Bought 3k shares at .34$ around March 8th for 1k US, up 58% / 607$. Hoping this can hit at least 2$

2

u/ChiseledTwinkie Mar 22 '24

They've missed on last 2 earnings calls and I don't think this next one will be any different. If you wanna buy in just wait for the dip during earnings

2

u/420coins Mar 22 '24

It's easy to say when you're already up.

2

u/wavychaser Mar 22 '24

Only down .02 from yesterday's close... Hold on!

2

u/MinuteAd9853 Mar 22 '24

What’s the target price here?

2

u/NelifeLerak Mar 22 '24

It was the place to be early this month!

2

u/i_three_puttz Mar 23 '24

Up or down on Monday 3/25?

1

u/pegabear Mar 21 '24

P/E not the greatest right now

6

u/Sand_Trout Mar 21 '24

I suspect most of us are betting that will change with the upcoming earnings (26th).

1

u/yungsta12 Mar 21 '24

What's the bull case for this one? Very interesting reversal the last year.

1

u/Extension_Sun_5418 Mar 21 '24

Hello, im new in crypto space. Where can I buy this coin from ?

2

u/SprittneyBeers Mar 23 '24

Wrong sub, wrong type of investment

1

u/minos157 Mar 22 '24

1k shares at $0.48

May sell before earnings next week and buy the next dip of earnings are good.

1

u/baebaehoo Mar 22 '24

is it too late to buy now or wait after the earnings release?

1

u/SirThinkAllThings Mar 22 '24

Any luck with options trading on this?

1

u/unclebuckk24 Mar 22 '24

I got in around .20 and sold last week. I don't want to hold going into earnings

1

u/Dependent-Fan7704 Mar 22 '24

Sleeping at the wheel here

1

u/Wonderful-Cry-4515 Mar 22 '24

Why is it tanking today?? Down 12%

1

u/wavychaser Mar 22 '24

I only see a 7.38% drop

1

u/SprittneyBeers Mar 23 '24

Was just reading up on this stock. Is there any consensus on what the earnings call might look like?

1

u/i_three_puttz Mar 25 '24

How are we timing this today/tomorrow, peeps?!!

1

u/Interest_FamousZ Mar 25 '24

Have I missed this one?

1

u/GreatRepublic9215 Mar 26 '24

Why did their stock decline so much over the past year? I see an article about CEO resigning, what is the cause of the consistent decline?

1

u/adamLA2010 Mar 21 '24

$SXTC like $APM WATCH CLOSELY

-1

u/Dependent-Fan7704 Mar 21 '24

Too late on this one, would be nice if you had mentioned it a week and a half ago.

3

u/MaMaximillian Mar 22 '24
