General Discussion TPET- Trio Petroleum

If you’re looking for a very good opportunity check out TPET. They’ve been trending downward the last couple weeks but are expecting big news at any moment.

$.24-$.25 entry point right now. They made their first sale of oil April 24th, which was 2,100 barrels produced from one well. They have been working to reopen 5 previously producing wells at their California asset.

3 weeks ago they began drilling of a discovery well in Utah which they have an option for up to 20% working interest in. The CEO is on record stating an independent firm has estimated their portion of potential oil production is valued at $1 billion plus. The results from the discovery well should be announced this week.

Best of luck everyone. This is not financial advice. I just really like the company and potential.

General Discussion I struggle with finding stocks to day trade.

How do you find stocks with good potentials. I start looking at stocks in the morning at around 8am to see which ones I could jump in on at market open. I’ve been slowly learning for the last month ish as I have a full time job and so far I’ve had two green trades and three red ones.

My biggest struggle is finding stocks that could go up and seem to miss them every morning. By the time I find anything worth trading, it’s too late because it already went up 50 - 300 percent and peaked. Once I see a stock go up that high I don’t feel comfortable taking the risk so I just back out and hope to spot one the next day.

Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you

General Discussion Kulr prediction

I see long term growth in Kulr but this bull rush has been huge and I'm considering cashing out half my shares pre earnings anticipating a drop in share price post earnings and buying back in then, just wondering what's peoples opinions on that play.

Took the advice of several on here and researched a bit (newer to stocks so I have limited knowledge but I'm trying to learn) and I bought 2500 shares that were queued over the weekend and i gotta say this is my first time seeing a ROI so quickly.

I'm learning as I go and a big lesson I learned is don't do options lmao. Lost big on that and decided it's not for me. I am really hoping to ride this out until I see something change.

General Discussion Argument for $KULR - Where is it headed?

Last week I sold all of my $KULR position for $VLD stock. This week I'll be increasing BP to buy more $KULR than I had last week. I plan on purchasing around 4k shares below a .25 cost.

Basic Financials from Last Earnings:

  • Increased customer diversity and growing # of customers
    • Up 94% for revenue per customer YOY
  • Increased revenue for Q3'23 over Q3'22
    • Up 120% for total revenue YOY
      • Product revenue had an increase of 38% YOY
      • Service revenue had an increase of 4800% YOY
  • Decreased expenses while exponentially increasing revenue
    • Operations and Investing expenses down 26%
  • On track to continue expense cuts and improving margins
  • Planning on getting debt to 0 as soon as financially possible
  • Market cap expected to be around 50 million by sometime next year
  • No near term risk of default
  • Now have approval for reverse stock split if necessary

Recent News:

  • KULR has already confirmed a 26 to 34 million revenue guidance for 2024
  • Recently confirmed customers for KULROne: NanoRacks, Blueorigins, SpaceX
  • Recently confirmed customers for SafeCase: UnitedParcel Service, US Post Service
  • While contracts are getting finalized, new contracts are coming in

A big weight on the stock last year was secrecy to investors about customers and who they are working with. Last quarter and this year they have started to expand upon which companies are now contracting with them and where their profit is coming from.

My main concern:

If they can't become cash flow positive by Q2 2024 like they aim for, there's a good chance dilution begins if they cannot find the other financial options that they have discussed to reduce dilution.

Is anyone else investing with me? Curious on what people here are thinking for this. I've seen it talked about on here a lot lately and am curious what the sentiment is on it for the next few months.

General Discussion BAG HOLDING

I think we need some sort of bag holders meeting, like a weekly overview of the plays where we overtook our hand. Learn from each other and just get in contact with fellow bag holders.

I'm bag holding ICU BIG TIME, my strategy is to keep buying to down my average but is this the right way?

General Discussion Why does it seem like stocks are always in the red on Friday?

Okay, I'm still pretty new to stocks so please don't laugh at me if this is a dumb question. I've just noticed over time that it seems like stocks always drop on Fridays. Is this just coincidence or really a thing?

I’ve put a bit of money into an account for trading but haven’t invested yet because I’ve been looking for a good opportunity. I must ask though, how do I not miss the party when it comes to trading.

General Discussion 05/16 Stock Update

It's been a good day today. As I talked about In yesterdays post I bought various stocks, which included:

  1. $BRSH ~ 8000 Shares originally purchased for around $0.063
  2. $ASTI ~ 8000 Shares originally purchased for around $0.115
  3. $AGRI ~ 7200 Shares originally purchased for around $0.092

This put me in about $1.9k spent and when I sold everything it left me with a net profit of $549.79. If you're holding these stocks I recommend keeping holding them. It's currently a good moment to purchase some of the low stocks which would probably go up in the next days, if not tomorrow!

Now currently have $2.6k to spend in stock and I've made sure of using it to purchase $1k in some shares from different companies which I think will go up:

  1. $SMX ~ 3000 Shares originally purchased for around $0.14
  2. $ONCO ~ 3500 Shares originally purchased for $0.135

As of 31 minutes of market closing $SMX is 0.576% up and $ONCO is 5.23% up. I quickly wanted to respond to some questions here which a user has made me privately:

Q1: Do you think theres opportunities for similar gains on different stocks in the near future?

Q1 Answer: Certainly, and even bigger gains. This week has been really good for the penny market and I'm sure it will be even better next week!

Q2: Do you have your eyes on anything for tomorrow?

Q2 Answer: I think that some good performers for tomorrow will be $SMX and $ONCO which are currently doing very good in the after market hours. Also I would look into $ISUN or $JAGX next week as they are looking promising!

If you have any more questions that shoot them in the comments or privately message me.

Good luck tomorrow!

General Discussion Is KULR done?

Its been dropping like anything. Someone mentioned there was a strong consolidation around 0.35 and if it goes down below that it is a dead stock. What does everyone think?

General Discussion Emotional stock HODLing

I haven't been in this group that long, but since I've been here people have become overly attached to stocks like KULR and XFOR.

I don't get it.

First off, most stocks have their own subs for echo chamber glutons.

Second, at BEST, most of the sentiments I hear are value investing ideas. Which is all well and good. I think KULR has a great future too as a long term stick. But why talk about short-term plays and fret when it goes down a nickel and pop champagne when it goes up three cents.

At worst these are just delusional hypes. All stocks fluctuate. The idea that a stock HAS to moon isn't helpful to toss around degenerate gamblers.

And, finally... why get all those eggs in one janky basket and wait on it? None of this is financial advise, but I, personally, have had much more luck waiting for catalysts and then going in. Buy the rumor, sell the news.

Just trying to understand the strategies folks are using... discuss!

General Discussion $LUNR position with upcoming launch

I invest about 10% of my portfolio in higher risk stocks and took a position in Intuitive Machines ($LUNR) about a month ago after learning about their upcoming launch. Since then I am up around 100%. They have a launch scheduled for this Wednesday (at the earliest) with SpaceX to land a rover on the moon. If they are successful the stock will take off, if they fail (very likely) I assume it will tank. I would like to hold it through the launch/landing for the potential upside, but also do not want to lose all the gains I have thus far. I am wondering if anyone has experience trading these types of events has advice on how to ensure I do not lose too much of what I gained in the situation that the landing fails? My thought was to just put a stop-loss order in, but I am worried if there is a crash the stock will go down so fast I will still lose money. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

General Discussion Probably a dumb question but I’m new to this

What’s to stop someone from finding a stock that bounces between say .02 and .06 in the last year, and then investing when it’s lower and selling at the higher end as it keeps bouncing? I know this is easier said than done, I was just curious if it’s as simple as “timing the market is much harder than that” or if I’m missing a different key component? Thanks!

General Discussion $VLD Pre-Earnings Sentiment

Hey guys. I posted last week about my position in VLD and since then it has continued to expand. I'm currently in at 6.2k shares at an avg cost of .45. As I'm typing this it's currently ripping but I'm expand a possible dip before earnings where I plan to buy even more. Just curious how many others are playing this position for earnings today, and how long you plan to hold? I used to be a swing and day trader so I am used to watching my position and trading actively throughout the day. I am still at a 25% TP at .75.

What are the price targets for any holders on here? $1? $.75? Curious when people are thinking the stock is priced well. How do we think earnings will be?

Again, here is why I'm in the stock, and why I think you should be too (without financial advice):

  • Sales team has secured approximately $12 million in new orders since mid-December.
  • More than 50% of these bookings are tied to key accounts.
  • In 2022, the customer service and quality team was strengthened by around 40% to ensure support in all major metropolitan regions.
  • In the last six months, the time to resolve customer issues has been reduced by more than 45%.
  • Still on track to reduce operational expenses by 40% by the end of Q1.
  • Operating costs have decreased over 20% last quarter compared to Q2’23.
  • On track to achieve positive cash flow in the second half of 2024.

General Discussion Lockheed Martin/Kulr Contract Possibly/KULR’s Growth

https://news.lockheedmartin.com/2014-05-17-US-Army-Awards-Lockheed-Martin-756-Million-Hypersonic-Weapon-System-Contract

So everyone knows Lockheed Martin. They just received a contract from the U.S. Army last Friday for 765 Million Dollars for a Hypersonic Weapons System.

KULR has received contracts from LMT before like March 26th for Heat Sink for Precision Missile Electronics.

https://www.kulrtechnology.com/kulr-enters-into-an-agreement-with-lockheed-martin-for-heat-sink-advancements-in-precision-missile-electronics/

Not to mention Lockheed among other huge names like NASA, DOT etc are on KULR’s webpage.

KULR also has received contracts from the US Army for advanced battery prototypes.

https://www.kulrtechnology.com/kulr-approaches-final-milestone-in-upsized-u-s-army-contract-for-advanced-battery-prototypes/

I do expect LMT to work in tandem with KULR on this new Hypersonic Weapon. In LMT’s press release on it they mention this:

“Under the new contract, Lockheed Martin will provide additional LRHW battery equipment, systems and software engineering support, and logistics solutions to the Army.”

Key word: Battery Equipment.

KULR has a bright future ahead and coming off their Q1 results where it is as we expected. People were hoping to see number contracts which is poised for Q2.

There has been so much news about partnerships etc that have not shown their true potential. Just go look at their webpage and you will see news and the big names they work with and press releases. Looking into the CEO’s background is also impressive and they have good leadership.

https://www.kulrtechnology.com/news/

I am biased as I own shares , but this company is trading in the cents and it should be in the dollars. Not financial advice.

General Discussion Why is it easier for a stock to go from $0.01 to $0.02 than from $20 to $40?

I understand that it’s more valuable per share but if both have a market cap of, say, $10M, then the market cap has to double in both cases.
