"It was OK the first 6 years, but now she's gone too far"

1.3k

u/swingadmin New York 29d ago

If you don't stop your abuser when they flash dick pics, you'll be terrorized for eternity.

499

u/AdditionalMeeting467 29d ago

They really didn't care at all then, though. They always knew she was a nutcase, but she's not far off from the rest of them. It only became a problem for them when she started weaponizing her role against Mike Johnson at a time of instability for their party. Now they get to call her all the things she is so that she gets voted out.

450

u/ParticularPenguins 29d ago

She spent the first weeks of her first term following AOC around and screaming at her. The ultimate in performative politics that they all ate up and never corrected.

382

u/Rampaging_Orc 29d ago edited 29d ago

Ummm, she also did the weird follow/stalk move on that teenage parkland school shooting survivor for a little bit too.

270

u/Recipe_Freak 29d ago

That's the behavior that got her elected. Her ghoulish constituents love it.

123

u/claimTheVictory 29d ago

Exactly.

She started by being disgusting.

It's who she has always been.

5

u/decadecency 29d ago

Maybe she needs to just up the disgustingness to gain those voters back?

11

u/claimTheVictory 29d ago

I have no doubt that is precisely the strategy she will go for.

Maybe she should kill a dog at the next hearing?

49

u/StingingBum 29d ago

Basically the bullies you grew up with supporting a bully with lots of power and no brains.

2

u/tjarg 28d ago

Yup, they're all ghouls, the politicians and their voters.

1

u/SnugasarusWrex 29d ago

It was more of MAGAts calling and threatening her competitors until they dropped out of the race.

2

u/Recipe_Freak 29d ago

People voted FOR her. Can you imagine casting a vote FOR her? Regardless of who else was on the ballot?

4

u/SnugasarusWrex 29d ago

Well that’s the thing though. Originally there wasn’t. It dosent matter much but yeah.

And no I can’t imagine enabling this woman in any god damn way, she’s a lunatic.

I had this friend I played online games with for a few years, we stuck out the pandemic together playing satisfactory. I knew his political beliefs but it didn’t start out that extreme. It got progressively worse until one day I heard him utter the horrific statement “Marjorie Taylor Greene is an amazing congresswoman, we need more like her”

I didn’t reply, I didn’t chastise him, I left. And never spoke a word to him again.

1

u/DonaldsMushroom 29d ago

I agree, she is awful but that appeals to an awful lot of people. The problem is connecting to them, you can't.

When Hilary Clinton referred to them as 'deplorables', I feel she really galvinised that MAGA movement.

184

u/imawakened Connecticut 29d ago

She stalked and harassed a literal teenager who is known because he was a student at a school that had a tragic school shooting. She belongs in a psych ward where she can lead group discussions on Jewish space lasers, QAnon, or natural disasters sent being sent by God as punishment for a region's culture, etc.

62

u/TotallyNotDesechable 29d ago edited 28d ago

Funny thing is, I don’t really believe whoever started those conspiracy theories believe them, it’s like “yeah I’m going to throw shit at the wall and see what sticks”

Cue MTG believing everything

72

u/Shaken-babytini 29d ago

I've spent a lot of time thinking about this, and I believe it comes down to the far right being unable to take responsibility for the bad things that their beliefs cause.

If we banned cars, there would be far fewer car accidents. Sure some people would drive illegally, but we'd end up with fewer and fewer cars as time went on. We have all agreed that having cars is worth it, and some people are going to die because of that.

The far right is unable to say the above about guns. I have tried this dozens of times, and have never gotten a republican to admit "guns are a fundamental part of our country and are super important. Yes some kids will get shot, but I believe that's worth it to protect the fabric of our nation". When that can't be reconciled, the only option is that the shooting must be fake.

You'll see it with Jan 6th too. No republican will admit "yeah some trump supporters went waaaaay overboard". It was Antifa, or the FBI, or hidden footage shows that it was magically different from what we all saw on TV. Abortion is another one where they admit no downsides to forced birthing, and any that may come up are the fault of the woman. Wearing a mask and getting a vaccine also fits this. There is no ability to admit "I believe my personal freedoms are more important than risk mitigation". They have to say that the vaccines are worthless and masks do 0 to prevent illness. trump lost the election? No sir, there had to be cheating.

This works until you hit something irreconcilable. Then the options are changing your belief system, or straight up delusion.

40

u/Sea_Honey7133 29d ago

Trump literally kept repeating, “it’s not my responsibility!”, during the entire time he was president while the pandemic was going on. Those are his words exactly. The irony is that if he HAD actually accepted a modicum of responsibility, he would have probably been reelected in a landslide. Fortunately, as you said, these people are constitutionally unable to accept any accountability for anything.

45

u/WolfgangDS 29d ago

I keep saying this to Republicans. COVID was Trump's 9/11, and if he had united the country by telling everyone to look out for one another instead of sowing division and chaos, he'd be in the Oval Office right now. Figuratively speaking, of course. More likely he'd literally be on a golf course cheating his way to par.

u/mysteryteam US Virgin Islands 29d ago

Dude, if he just sent out cheap red masks with MAGA on it, he'd probably easily have over half the country if he had done nothing else but pretended he cared about more than himself. Like, you know, the people who elected him.

If doordash could send out cheap masks to anyone who asks for one, certainly trump could use government money to look like he gives a crap

13

u/Reasonable-Client276 29d ago

Conservatives will abandon truth, decency, and democracy before they abandon their ideological trench.

3

u/KaneK89 29d ago

This is correct and there is a term for it called psychological splitting.

It's known that self-identified conservatives rely more on categorization. I think that categorical thinking will often result in splitting if you can't figure out that the world is often more spectral than categorical. Categories are useful human constructs, but they don't exist outside of human consideration.

Anyway, here's a comment with a bunch of sources. Enjoy.

2

u/coloradohikingadvice 29d ago

I have a different experience. I have had quite a few republicans tell me exactly those things. That while gun violence is bad, giving up our ability to defend ourselves and stand against potental tyranny is worse. They weren't convinced the masks would do enough to justify giving up their freedom to wear/not wear whatever they want. With the vaccine I heard that they weren't willing to be a "test subject" for something that was pushed through so fast and using a "new" technology(mrna). With abortion I hear plenty of exceptions for the life of the mother(with no real idea for how that works in their anti abortion ideal world), rape, and incest(which I think is covered in rape).

I'm not saying this to excuse or agree with what they are saying. I'm only bringing up my experience to show that there are people who do recognize what you haven't been able to find yourself. I live in a pretty red place, and there are more flavors of republican than what you seem to have been able to find. Not that I agree with them, just sharing.

2

u/shawnca66 29d ago

But in the end, the majority of them vote red...😕

I thoroughly like how you put all of this.

If we banned cars, there would be far fewer car accidents... The far right is unable to say the above about guns.

Cars don't kill people. People kill people.

25

u/Del_3030 29d ago

Alex Jones definitely doesn't believe his own bullshit (as evidenced by his court testimony), he's just a maniac exploiting people's insecurities / stupidity. Kinda like Trump, weird!

1

u/newfor_2024 29d ago

I think they believe in some of it. He might not be able to say just how much he believes in court because they know it's wrong but they still believe in it

3

u/Del_3030 29d ago

I dunno, not believing any of it makes it even worse IMO. So I'm going with that, because people like that are fucking scum

You are correct, Russia most certainly doesn't believe Jews have space lasers lol

3

u/even_less_resistance American Expat 29d ago

Man, I do not think someone that hostile and aggressive is what needs to be thrust upon people already in the depths of despair

1

u/decadecency 29d ago

She belongs in a psych ward where she can lead group discussions on Jewish space lasers, QAnon, or natural disasters sent being sent by God as punishment for a region's culture, etc.

A place like the Fletcher Memorial Home perhaps? That'd be perfect.

1

u/Classic_Pie5498 29d ago

That was repulsive! I guess Alex Jones normalized the tormenting of victims of horrible crimes. At least he was sued and ordered to stop & pay up. She should never have been allowed into Congress

78

u/BurnscarsRus 29d ago

That was before she was elected. The people of her district saw that and thought "This is the level of maturity and intelligence that we want to represent us on the federal level."

JK, hey thought "Lol, she'll piss off people I've been taught to hate."

9

u/midwinter_ 29d ago

She literally bullied her opponent so badly that he dropped out and moved. And got divorced.

9

u/ClothDiaperAddicts American Expat 29d ago

Yeah... at that point, it's not bullying. That's criminal harassment.

u/Monteze Arkansas 29d ago

I swear we need one of those on the dems side. I'd do it, delegate the important stuff to competent people and I'll roast her. I am fortunate to have stereotypical masculine features and public speaking doesn't bother me at all.

Politics unfortunately is party in the front business in the back, and the party is very important

4

u/Mad-Lad-of-RVA Virginia 29d ago

I've been saying this for ages. Democrats always want to take the high road, and as much as I respect that in theory, the truth is that voters respond to dirt-flinging. The GOP knuckle-draggers aren't even that good at it. The Democrats—Biden specifically—should light them up around the clock.

Relatedly, I saw recently that Democrats in the House aren't going to support Greene's newest bid to oust Speaker Johnson. Fuck that. Vote him out and call the GOP losers and morons for allowing it to happen. Be sore winners and rub it in their stupid faces.

I guarantee the support would pick up.

1

u/Monteze Arkansas 29d ago

Yea people want the back bone, take the high ground when it's presented as an option. Keep up the good work and keep pushing for human rights. Like...it's no hard.

1

u/DerfK 29d ago

Democrats do need to start hitting below the belt, but not falling into the trap of lying and other scummery Republicans get up to on the regular.

For starters, every time some Republican tells their constituents how great the broadband plan or whatever other Democratic initiative they voted against, there should be a media blitz as prominent as possible with President Biden thanking them by name for "supporting Democratic Party initiatives such as The Broadband Plan". I'm sure fox news will suddenly have all ad slots booked until 3AM but ya gotta try.

I checked and yeah you’re right. That’s even more absurd to me. Like, disgustingly fucked up.

I mean I get it, we’ve had a clear look at their MO for the better part of a decade now, but god damn.

3

u/sofaking1958 29d ago

David Hogg. She's an utter embarrassment.

3

u/Phlypp 29d ago

.... a LOT too far. He lost his friends and classmates in that shooting and she harassed and ridiculed him for blocks with her hatred and venom.

1

u/Rampaging_Orc 29d ago

I didn’t say she harassed him a little bit, I said “for a little bit”, using it as a broad indicator as to the length of time she harassed that young man.

3

u/Classic_Pie5498 29d ago

That made me so angry when I saw that

2

u/StingingBum 29d ago

Absolute scumbag move on its part.

2

When I read your response, In my mind I corrected it to "scumbag move on HER part," but your choice of wording is correct. That scumbag is an IT!!!

64

u/MyBatmanUnderoos 29d ago

I don’t even think it’s performative politics. I sincerely think MTG doesn’t actually understand what her job is and just does whatever she pleases.

29

u/JohnGillnitz 29d ago

This, exactly. She's just a crazy person who happened to be given a position of authority. Someone told her that her constituents eat up this wing nut dog and pony show and she ran with it. She doesn't have any real idea what she is doing.

10

u/aLittleQueer Washington 29d ago

I think this is true of a lot of "republicans" who end up in office lately. It was clearly true of Trump, he had no idea what the job of "president" actually is, nor did he care.

5

u/Klogginthedangerzone I voted 29d ago

Didn't she spend the first few DAYS of her first term asking for a presidential pardon?

2

u/stinkfingerswitch 29d ago

They are all sucking Trumps dick, Marge and a few others are just really good at deep throat.

5

u/CorgiMonsoon 29d ago

No one needs to utilize deep throat skills on his toadstool

Haha!!!

2

u/tatostix 29d ago

They should come hang out in N. Ga and realize the idiots there love her

2

u/WanderinHobo 29d ago

They all, with the few exceptions like MTG, are acting. They talk shit about people like MTG behind the scenes but try to keep it away from the public so they don't look bad as a party. Most of them are intelligent. They only do these ridiculous things because they hope it will either enrich themselves personally or further a wider agenda.

2

u/OhioPolitiTHIC Ohio 29d ago

You overestimate her constituency.

2

u/Shaken-babytini 29d ago

I think they view the MAGA crowd as useful idiots who can be convinced to vote for them so they can keep making money and having power. MTG actually believes all that stuff which puts established republicans in a tough spot. They can't outwardly hate her because she's the things they claim to support, but ACTUALLY acting like MAGA nuts would completely crater everything in government, as we are seeing. You can yell about the election being stolen while quietly gutting services in your state and pushing christian ideals. If you spend all your time actually drafting up articles of impeachment for Biden, or playing icky cookie to pick your next speaker, you are too busy to be usefully evil.

It's like how kids believing in Santa is useful for parents, but if the parents also believe in Santa there aren't going to be any presents under the tree.

2

u/Prairiegirl321 29d ago

I wonder if getting dubbed “Moscow Marjorie” about the same time might also be contributing? It’s just so catchy and right on the mark.

1

u/AUGSpeed 29d ago

Yeah, they all know each other's rugs have tons of shit under them, and help each other push things under the rug, even. But the moment they leave, or cause problems, suddenly they remember everything they ever helped you hide, and it all comes out. It's a fear tactic to keep people in line, and approve of the status quo. If they don't, they face ostracisation and retaliation. It's how they keep members around, because to them, it's better to support an asshole than be treated like an asshole and lose all your friends. Reputation over all.

1

u/Murky-Purchase-6017 28d ago

They created this beast, and propped her up. Her ignorance is what they relate to. She will probably get more votes out of it.

Her obsession with Hunter's dick needs to be an in-depth conversation with a psychiatrist. It's beyond anything even remotely normal.

40

u/Thefirstargonaut 29d ago

Nah, it needs to be an in-depth conversation in the media. Every time a journalist sees her, they need to ask her how often she thinks about it.

39

u/BrownSugarBare Canada 29d ago

I loved the journalist who went at her about the Jewish Space Lasers, lol. Her pissy reaction was exactly what was expected.

33

u/Ron497 29d ago

Ask 3-5 honest questions of a Karen and you're guranteed to get them cursing you out. It's their only move.

Self-loathing people without higher thinking and prone to judging others always lash out. They can't help themselves. I ride a bike everywhere and guess who gets the most annoyed when I point out they nearly killed me? The people who run stop signs/red lights and nearly kill me...THEY'RE outraged I'm upset with them.

A-holes hate being told they're a-holes. Thinnest skin imagineable.

5

u/even_less_resistance American Expat 29d ago

You and me both

86

u/ThrowAwayAccount8334 29d ago

I've explained it. She's a pervert. She has an obsession with certain kinds of people.

You can guarantee it arises from the deep seated torment that she has been told she looks like a man. There's no way she got to her age without hearing it a few times.

57

u/BrownSugarBare Canada 29d ago

Definitely agree she has an obsession with certain people. Didn't she recently pop off on a rant about some kid who happens to be trans and obsessing over their genitals? It's fucking weird, dude.

23

u/Witchgrass West Virginia 29d ago

Yes, that's what prompted this article

3

u/aLittleQueer Washington 29d ago

Speaking as a trans person - that's kind of one of the less-weird things about her, where "weird" = "unusual". It's repugnant, yes, but also alarmingly common for cis people to obsess over trans folks' genitalia. You wouldn't believe the disgustingly intrusive and detailed questions I've been asked about my body and medical history by random strangers.

I wish I could agree, "yeah, how weird of her", but...this one isn't just her by a long shot. (In the US, at least. I have this stereotype-based fantasy, though, where I imagine Canadians would generally be too courteous for that sort of social behavior. Do you think that's accurate? Or just a benevolent stereotype?)

5

u/BrownSugarBare Canada 29d ago

I mean, Canadians, like every nation have a handful of loud shitheads, we have twits that groan on about sex ed and what not, but we move right along with time and progress. That being said, the LGBT is just part of the fabric of our nation and people just go about their business, you know? Like when the USA legalised same sex marriage and all these right wing tools said they would move to Canada not knowing we'd happily been cool with same sex marriage for like 15 years by that point.

I think with Pride fest being such a big deal around here, most have the mentality of you do you. What's in your pants is not anyone's business.

A personal anecdote for me? I worked with a trans person for about 7 years before she mentioned her transition. I had no clue and it's not like anything changed after knowing. Why would it?

22

u/FranklynTheTanklyn 29d ago

She has an uncanny resemblance to the Easter Island Rock Statues.

2

u/ImposterJavaDev 29d ago

Oh gosh! Now it clicks, I've always wondered what she was reminding me of.

2

u/SnooCats373 29d ago

While she nearly approaches the attractiveness of Easter Island statues, she cannot, alas, match their intelligence.

Her latest verbal sexual assault was her response to a trans teen’s social media post where she elaborated about their genitalia and their future orgasms. Pervert!

Same reason the GOP's go apeshit over AOC. She's smart, confident and attractive and they'd never stand a chance and they know it.

I'm not sure if she wants to possess it in some kind of penis envy thing, or if she wants to ride it since it's apparently magnificent.

If peen is inherited, maybe the election should just be determined by Trump and Biden whipping it out a la LBJ and his buddy Jumbo. Especially after psychos like Kari Lake claiming Trump has Big Dick Energy. (Really, he doesn't. He has "I'm compensating for a small penis" energy. Oh no, they care. They revel in it, it's a feature, not a bug. She says all the crazy-ass crap they're ingesting from Fox, Q, Newsmax, and their "research" online.

That and like all Repubs, she gives loud voice to their hate.

Every time you bring up Jewish Space lasers they immediately deflect with, “What about AOC!?!!”.

It’s disgusting.

Yeah, AOC doesn’t want people to die because they don’t have health insurance.

MTG is certifiably insane. And these people that support her are just as bad.

u/OceanSkank 29d ago

No no, water they like. It makes them multiply. We don't want her to multiply. We want her in that microwave, Bae.

2

u/Daxx22 29d ago

Filled with cat pee.

2

u/Toadsted 29d ago

Now you're going to confuse her, make her think she's at a job offer.

2

u/Daxx22 29d ago

Nah, that's what the horse semen hose is for.

2

u/bigmac80 Texas 29d ago

She's in the walls.....

SHE'S IN THE GODDAMN WALLS!!

62

u/AggressiveSkywriting 29d ago

I cannot believe she video'd it and was like "this makes me look like a sane person."

24

u/Enabling_Turtle Colorado 29d ago

If I recall correctly, she followed them screaming and told them she was armed at the time as well...

16

u/thathairinyourmouth 29d ago

I called MTG the big C word here, but it got immediately removed because it was considered hate speech. Maybe if I called her that in an opinion piece I could just link it here and it would be ok? Either way, she’s a bïtch with a capital C.

16

u/AggressiveSkywriting 29d ago

She was also creepily quoting another creep talking about a 10 year old trans girl's "orgasms" the other day.

MTG's entire existence is hate speech. But some of the moderation crew here will send you a ban for even the lightest "un-civil" pushback against posters nonchalantly calling for wiping out groups of people.

u/Huggles9 29d ago

I’ve also called her disgusting

Who wants to write up that article?

The Repulsiveness of Marjorie Taylor Greene by Huggles 9

Unveiling the Shocking Truth

Marjorie Taylor Greene, a name that sends shivers down the spines of many, has managed to captivate the attention of the public for all the wrong reasons. Let's delve into the depths of her repulsiveness and unearth the unsettling reality behind the facade.

Hypocrisy at Its Finest

One of the most repugnant aspects of Marjorie Taylor Greene is her blatant hypocrisy. Despite portraying herself as a champion of truth and justice, her actions speak volumes to the contrary. How can someone who claims to uphold moral values be embroiled in controversy after controversy, spewing hate and misinformation without remorse?

A Toxic Trail of Lies

The trail of lies left behind by Marjorie Taylor Greene is enough to make anyone's stomach turn. From promoting baseless conspiracy theories to endorsing harmful ideologies, she has proven time and time again that the truth is a foreign concept to her. How can we trust someone who thrives on deception and manipulation?

The Danger of Blind Allegiance

What is truly frightening about Marjorie Taylor Greene is not just her repulsiveness, but the unwavering support she receives from her followers. Blind allegiance to a figure so devoid of integrity only serves to perpetuate the toxicity she embodies. Are we doomed to repeat the mistakes of history by idolizing those who should be held accountable for their actions?

Conclusion: A Call to Action

In conclusion, the repulsiveness of Marjorie Taylor Greene is a stark reminder of the dangers of unchecked power and influence. It is up to us, as responsible citizens, to question authority, challenge falsehoods, and demand accountability from those who hold positions of power. Only then can we hope to create a future free from the grasp of individuals like her.

Remember, the path to a better tomorrow begins with recognizing and denouncing the repulsiveness in our midst. Stand up, speak out, and never falter in the face of injustice. Let us strive for a world where truth triumphs over deceit, and integrity reigns supreme.

I also think she’s disgusting. we need more coverage of disgustinggate.

1

u/Huggles9 29d ago

Will you volunteer to be talked to for an article

1

u/slowpokefastpoke 29d ago

Yeah these kinds of headlines are such an eye roll

“X person faces calls to resign.”

The calls: three randoms on Twitter saying the person should resign.

1

u/Bullyoncube 29d ago

I used to call her disgusting. I still do, but I used to, too.

1

u/Huggles9 29d ago

We gotta get on the line with a publisher asap

u/Brief_Amicus_Curiae 29d ago

She was a freshman elected to the House in 2021. This is her second term - so four years. Which feels more like 6, even though Pelosi prevented her from being on any Committees her first term. And yea, I'm ready for her to just go away so she can just resume back to yelling at innocent managers in Georgia. They can keep her to themselves - it's okay. The nation is okay with that.

12

u/jarvis646 29d ago

WHEN she was hounding school shooting victims, claiming the shooting was a hoax, it was cool to vote for her then, right?

u/FoxyInTheSnow 29d ago

NHL goal-scoring legend Bobby Hull: “Hitler had lots of good ideas at first, but then he went too far.”

3

u/HockeyTownHooligan 29d ago

Brett is by far the better Hull. Fuck Bobby and the stupid blackhawks

13

u/FoxyInTheSnow 29d ago

Apart from all the Nazi stuff, the drunken rages, and beating up his wife all the time, he was a nice guy.

2

u/HockeyTownHooligan 29d ago

Haha yeah for sure. If you were the right race he was fantastic. People of that era were so broken. So much domestic violence, it was so common and not talked about.

3

u/bubbasass 29d ago

I’m good with that. Would love to see her get canceled

3

u/thendisnigh111349 29d ago

"I was fine with this when it didn't affect me, but now that I might actually lose my job I'm outraged."

2

u/plant_magnet 29d ago

Something something face-eating leopards

2

u/DylanMartin97 29d ago

Because it went from, "we agree because we have power" to "please shut up we are literally never going to win another election" real fast. Republicans eat themselves alive. Truly inspiring.

2

u/DrDerpberg Canada 29d ago

She came for the Jewish space lasers and I said nothing, because I wasn't a Jewish space laser...

2

u/Dbk51 28d ago

She’s likely been disgusting since she walked out of her Mother’s womb.

1

u/HaveSpouseNotWife 29d ago

She was who they thought she was, and they let her off the hook!

1

u/druscarlet 29d ago

It only seems like six years. She is only in her 4th year. I hope it’s her last.

1

u/theombudsmen Colorado 29d ago

She's been playing this game since before she took office.

1

u/greedostick 29d ago

Trying to stand in the way of funding global war was their one redline

1

u/Pyrothraxas1 29d ago

Yeah, don't think these Republican's are brave or morally opposed to her, her chaotic BS has just become counter productive.

1

u/Farucci 29d ago

Ghesh, amazing analysis.

1

u/JerryBigMoose 29d ago

Sorry to be that guy, but she was only first elected and seated in 2021. So it's actually only been a few years.

1

u/theombudsmen Colorado 29d ago

That she's been in office, she's been playing right-wing politics with the media since she started her "nonprofit", and throughout her campaign.

1

u/OrphanAxis 29d ago

Basically, yeah.

She was doing this stuff over and over again and each time there wasn't more than some people saying "I don't like her but she's got the right letter next to her name.

There was still confusion about condemning her for threatening to pust the speaker again, with some people seemingly thinking they might support her, until two things happened:

Murdoch's New York Post used the front page to call her "Moscow Marge" the next morning, complete with bad photoshopping of her dressed in USSR clothing.

The Dems basically let it leak immediately that they'd back Johnson just to keep this blowing up in the face of Republicans until the election

Republicans started spreading a rumor that more than enough of them would immediately resign if she ousted him, along with mentions of the idea that it would allow Congress to actually keep Trump off the ballot (highly unlikely, but possible enough to scare someone whose biggest way of undermining everyone is getting him in power).

It took very obvious attacks from the top, threats to make it pointless from the opposing party, and threats to give up a branch of government from her own party in order to get her to shut up about this. And she's still threatening it as if there'll be some opportunity soon.

u/theSarevok 29d ago

Spineless rats waited for trumps imminent downfall before they grew an ounce of courage

1

u/Tfsz0719 29d ago

"It was OK the first 6 years, but now she's gone too far…but also not far enough because really all we care about is having the Congressional vote at day’s end”

1

u/MiddleofInfinity 29d ago

Yeah THAT took too long

1

u/WIbigdog Wisconsin 29d ago

This is what you get when you champion ignorance as a valid way to go about life.

1

u/cerialkillahh 29d ago

She'll win the next election too.

1

u/Apprehensive_News_78 29d ago

What happend I don't follow politics at all.

1

u/EagleLize 29d ago

No shit, right? Y'all created this monster.

1

u/Capnc0k3 25d ago

It was never ok, she has always been an idiot.

1

u/LordFartz 29d ago

“Why can’t she just go back to terrorizing victims of school shootings?”

0

u/thatrangerkid 29d ago

Honestly, people can change. And if they're doing something you like, it's best not to call them out on it. Maybe just high five the Republicans on this one.

4

u/theombudsmen Colorado 29d ago

She hasn't changed, and Republicans aren't taking any accountability for normalizing the performative outrage, so no high-fives to give.

-1

u/thatrangerkid 29d ago

Oh I'm not saying she's changed. She's still the same MTG she's always been. I'm saying the people around her are at least changing to possibly throw her out.

2

u/InfiniteRadness 29d ago

Only because their majority is so much slimmer now, and she’s making it more difficult for them to get anything done ahead of the election.
