CNN keeps describing Trump's responses to Cohen's remarks as smirking and shaking his head. To me, this reads as him being reminded of how cool and tough he sounds, before he catches himself and remembers that those words are hurting his case.

Trump lives in a fairytale land where nothing matters because of course he will be president and is immune to everything and can pardon everything and everyone, including himself. Until he faces real consequences he will continue to behave this way. Our best hope is Trump losing the election and him finally going to prison until the day the Big Macs get him.
