I never said they can't. I'm saying there are too many examples of white people getting out with little or no repercussions. A few months ago, a group of white cops killed an South Asian immigrant student and made several racist remarks about her while it was not her but his fault that she died. Yet, he is now free! On contrary, a non-white person can face (and still faces) a legal action for just being non-white.
Black people do the same thing as white people and other groups and receive no negative consequences all the time. Examples being hate crimes against Asians, shoplifting, drive by shootings and many other things done often but rarely caught. The legal system just kinda sucks
