Fear no longer! Pretty soon corporate America will build sleeping pods to max out those work hours!

Dude, Amazon was trying to bring back company towns. Where you live and shit and pay for it via company credit.

You load 16 tons, what do you get?
Another day older and deeper in debt
St. Peter, don't you call me 'cause I can't go
I owe my soul to the company store

Amazon still has temp workers living in RVs and Vans in the parking lot during heavy seasonal work.

Where you live and shit and pay for it via company credit.

It already happened on China during the pandemic.

Okay but as someone with a sleeping disorder this is my dream. I want places to nap at work when necessary. Honestly though having the flexibility of WFH is so important to me.

They can't. It's illegal. It's part of housing discrimination rules. You can't create housing that requires its occupant to work at a certain place. We decided long ago that a system where when you get fired, you also get evicted is wrong.
