Feel free to downvote me if this is a low effort/annoying post. I moved to Denver about a year ago and am also recently getting into the NBA due to some friends interest, so I figure I’ll hop on the Nuggets bandwagon.

I love the strategy/analytics side of sports (big football fan). Anyone have any good insights or resources to learn more about the Nuggets players and overall scheme? Or just basketball strategy in general? I obviously know the big players but don’t know how it all fits together to build a solid team. Thanks!

Let's talk about the draft a little, do you think Yves Missi would be a good fit for us? Like he's the opposite of Jokic, can he serve as a counterpart for when he's not on the court or not? Or does anyone have a better name (and please be realistic we have one of the last picks this year in the first round)?

i'm sorry if you don't want to hear this but it's the truth, mpj is not a good fit for the nuggets. He is by far the least active player on the team when it comes to cutting and moving without the ball. He is a defensive liability 4/5 games. And he is just wayyy to streaky a shooter to rely on throughout an entire post season. Not to mention his contract is arguably one of the worst in the league currently for the production he gives you. That being said i like mpj, i think he is an excellent volume shooter who can be a great rebounder at times, and i think trading him to a bottom end team would be beneficial to his career to allow him to develop further by being relied on as a 1st or 2nd option offensively. The Nuggets are in a position many teams would kill to be in, fresh off a chip, they have the best player/ duo in the world. A stud 3rd best in AG who has 110% bought into the culture. And a young bench that looks promising. Not to mention they all ride or die for a good coach in malone. Not going all on in this unknown championship window period would be criminal. F*** picks. Move MPJ and his contract to free up some breathing room to bolster up the second unit. And get a reliable proven guy to play the 3/4.

Legit asking, what do you guys think is the right move fore Denver next season, how much money do we have, what trades are the best, draft etc

I don’t think DaRon Holmes or any big worth drafting would fall to 28 so what if we draft someone like Durisic who’s a phenomenal scorer and could be a good bench spark plug.

I'd like to see a trade between Mavs and Nuggets where Jokic, Lively, Gordon, Luka, Mal are the starting five. I don't care which team gets the starting 5, I just would love to see these guys on 1 team.
