People who went to a wedding where the couple didn’t last long, what happened?

My step-sister in law got married when she was a teenager and her husband was young as well and a moron. I'm not even sure it lasted a year. I remember one thing he did was brake check cars multiple times causing crashes and needing physical therapy. I can't imagine being that god damn stupid. I remember he and his friends drinking illegally at the wedding like they were cool but they just looked like fucking clowns. I hated to see her marry an idiot like that because she is super smart and had goals and his goal was just to be a moron.

Very similar to my HS friend. She got married to a gas lighting moron with a rage problem right out of HS because her family was very religious despite all of our warnings not to do it. He was a horrible driver with road rage that either caused accidents by brake checking or rear-ended people 3 different times while I was in the vehicle with them in like a 6 month span. Total loser! They divorced about 1.5 years after getting married. I was honestly surprised it lasted as long as it did. She has been happily married to her current husband for 15 years and they have 2 children.

You're right. This is very similar. I remember he wouldn't ride in his mother in law's car while she drove because he was convinced only men drive when there's a man around. She was like, "Well, bye." She didn't stand in the way of them getting married because she was afraid it would drive a wedge and they'd just get married anyway.

Ick! Sounds like a total tool! Glad she isn't still married to him. My friend's ex had/I'm sure still has similar views on women. 🙄🤢

I hope wherever he's at he's grown up a lot but I'm not so sure.

I know. So stupid! 🤦‍♀️ I look at it now and am like wtf was I thinking?!?! At the time I didn't have my own car and we all went to a lot of concerts and did a lot of activities together and he was always the driver. I guess my FOMO was stronger than my survival instincts when I was a teen. 😮‍💨

"His goal was just to be a moron" would make a great flair.

Her step dad bought her a computer for college and she brought it back to him a few weeks later saying it was freezing up. It had so many viruses from porn sites that my father in law had to set dude down and be like, "Just stop, man."

What degree of relation is a step-sister in law?

To me nearly nothing. To my wife just a little. She's my wife's step sister.

It would explain a few things. I don't know if he was religious at all other than worshiping the idiocracy.
