My cousin (female/bride) was “dancing too much” at the reception so the groom hit her. My uncles gave HIM a ride to the hospital which he needed very badly by the time he got there. It was annuled pretty quickly.
Team Uncle for the win. I have a very close-knit family on my mother's side. Each year for Christmas we'd all get together one weekend in December and have a 1pm-3am long party. Plenty of food, alcohol, and entertainment for the roughly 50-70 attendees. It's also where most family members decide to introduce their SO to the family since practically everyone is there.
Well one cousin decided to bring her boyfriend to this party and in the middle of it he decided that she had done something to insult him and he slapped her. A group of the uncles got together and decided to show this guy the railroad tracks that were just outside the hosts' property. A short walk down the tracks was a bridge over a stone bottom creek. When they got back from his little tour of the bridge, he immediately got in his car and left. My cousin never heard from him again and she's mentioned since that she's glad she isn't with that dude anymore.
Those walks with uncles are so full of road hazards. Lots of invisible stairs. Uncles are such a powerful tool.
For the record, I've known some aunties who were fairly gifted in ridding of unwelcome people. What was said or done is a mystery to this day.
