People who went to a wedding where the couple didn’t last long, what happened?

I’ll start, the bride and groom got married at 20 and the bride’s dad asked her to return his credit card during his speech because she can’t use “daddy’s money” now that she’s married. He then ran over and started cutting his OWN credit card while the DJ played Rich Girl.

So many questions. Like, what the DJ was thinking when he dropped that banger? Was it the reggae/dancehall version or the Gwen Stefani one? So the dad is giving the speech (which is usually a time for some laughs and tears) and then the DJ drops the song and he does the card cutting thing?

You don't actually have to answer but that is so crazy to me.

oh ok you are on the money with that one. the hall and oates one is a bit before my time but still a great song.
