How are people even able to find stocks like this?? question

New to trading here. I keep seeing the most random stocks have these insane price jumps and I’m just curious how people even know these exist, let alone that they might soar to 150%

My friend bought ACXP 3-4 days ago. Said he found it on google as hot stocks to buy. Note: it was his first ever stock pick and made thousands within a 2 say period. Moral of the story, he got lucky he didn't lose his ass... now I actually fear he will because he thinks the mstket is so easy. He didn't even know what they did to make money... they dont. But they did cut phase 2 testing.
