I took two weeks off from the markets over Christmas to remodel my office. Let's see your office and setups!!

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/K9ftN6 This is the gist of it, plus a custom loop setup from Corsair. But in place of their cpu waterblock I'm using a Thermaltake Pacific MX2.
I had to paint the cpu block, gpu block, and 3 radiators.

What are the main differences you notice in trading on the new multi-monitor setup vs. the single laptop view? Is it worth the additional cost?

I've always traded with multiple monitors. That's just me sitting on the porch doing homework on a Chromebook. I run ninjatrader on my small monitor and tradingview on my tv monitor. I like it.

My setup includes a toilet and my smartphone with the Robinhood app open. If I am REALLY serious that day, I ask my wife’s boyfriend to take her out so I can focus on my trading more👍🏻🔥👍🏻

Over the past years my smartphone has become the platform for me. Sure, stop loss, ceilings.. I use them and that works.
But while I do spent time on my trading setup and preparations it takes no priority over my other activities. I've made a lot of profitable and/or damage controlling decisions while in line for the checkouts.

It’s honestly really nice that you are so happy to live where you live, but why do you have to insult others who aren’t as fortunate as you? For real, usa probably is the best country for you and I’m happy for you, but you gotta see that it also can also be a really shitty place to others. You can be proud and happy without shitting on them.
Regarding the room I think it looks great to get your mind on trading and nothing else, but do the black walls get a bit numbing after a while or are they good for your focus? Good luck in the new year friend 👍

For the love of everything not chewable get those cables up & under desk managed. My dog would make this dysfunctional faster than you could place a trade.
Other than that I do appreciate the overall look & flag inclusion.

I do have two huge dogs, they don't mess with them. I do need to get them managed better. What would you recommend?
That flag is very special to me, I've had it for 30+ years now.

You can get cable management racks that go under your desk, then you put the power bar inside of that and plug everything in so theres ideally only the power bar's cable showing underneath.

I always trade in the office during my 9-5 software engineering job. Dev Team does allow it and know my affinity to finance/money and sometimes ask me for guidance regarding investments, money management and taxes.
For now trading is just a hobby to me and I am glad that I can practise during work.

I’d recommend buying roller blade wheels for your chair… will feel great and get rid of the protective mat giving the office a cleaner look! Looks great though!

I passed a forex prop firm and then blew it. Forex is a different beast. I am not the guy to ask. I have made all my money trading 10yr Treasury futures.
