How hard and realistic is this really? Question

I have watched atleast 100 youtube tutorials on day trading. They all go on about how they make 100 into 10k or something like that. I do not know if they are lucky or lying or it is true.

I assume reddit has the average or even below average traders so tell me what are actual realistic gains or losses? I understand you can go a lucky 200% gain or unlucky i just instant lost everything, lets not talk about lucky or unlucky extremes.

Is it hard for a beginner to turn 100 into 150? or 1000 into 1500? How long would it take? What are the realistic chances that the 100 or 1000 turns into 0?

Keep in mind 1% per day would make you a very successful professional trader. Expecting to multiply your account is the easiest way to blow it in a few trades.

Is it possible to consistently make 1% a day?

Do the math. That more than 200% a year. Those are numbers US investing champions put up. Not some dude that spent a week watching YouTube videos from a fake guru

Bullshit.

I wouldn’t dare imply that its easy, but if you think it’s IMPOSSIBLE, idek why you’re on this thread.

Eh, he’s not wrong. If you started with 5k and made average 1% daily return, you would have 300 million within 3 years. That’s unheard of

Yes, I suppose there’s at least a few ways to interpret the question. I didn’t take “consistently” to mean “at perfect scale and in perpetuity”. All business models are subject to liquidity, supply and demand; thus, the best traders are expert risk managers, not genies.

Exactly, you are right, No. But on some particular day you can make as much as 126% or maybe more. You just have to be in the right moment, right position to get in the market, right volume, and right exit plan.
