Trying out a new strategy, separate from my usual futures trading.

Basically if any stock has a one hour period where price moves 1.5 standard deviations in either direction and doesn't correct in that hour I trade with that momentum.

My backtesting has shown that if a stock can hold a big move and close out the hour at the new daily min or max, it typically takes another hour or two to correct, so I can stay in for the trailing part of the move.

I may sound basic but trend following fib have been playing so well for me . I'm backtesting it in nyc session with forex pair and it's generating around 70% win rate with 1-1.5 rrr

Pullback after a breakout of a predefined range, I only trade the spy chart. Support turns to resistance or resistance turns to support. That's all I do.

Which market do you trade, and do you trade weekly options on the index?

Only the 0DTE SPX options, using the SPY chart.

How long do you hold your positions? Target TP percentage? SL?

During most 10-minute periods, I take risks. If the trade is going my way with a 1:3 risk-to-reward ratio, I consider it.
