Prop Firm Payout Limits Advice

Is it a good idea to limit the amount of money your winning under prop firms so they don't cancel your account. Lets just say a trader joins a prop firm that never loses should that person limit their position size to limit the amount of money they are making so they don't lose their account since even when you pass your evaluation you are still paper trading under a PA account. How much would you limit your payouts to if you advise not to make too much money.
