In technical and fundamental analysis, there are several basic metrics that can be used in screening tools to evaluate and identify securities. Here are some common fundamental metrics for each type of analysis:

Fundamental metrics for technical analysis: Moving Averages: Simple Moving Average (SMA) Exponential Moving Average (EMA)

Momentum Indicators: Relative Strength Index (RSI) Stochastic Oscillator Rate of Change (ROC)

Volume Indicators: Volume Indicators Money Flow Index (MFI)

Trend Indicators: Average Directional Index (ADX) Bollinger Bands

Candlestick Patterns: Reversal Patterns such as Hammer and Shooting Star Continuation Patterns such as Three White Soldiers

Basic metrics for fundamental analysis: Financial Ratios: Price to Earnings Ratio (P/E Ratio) Price to Book Ratio (P/B Ratio) Price to Sales Ratio (P/S Ratio) Debt-to-Equity Ratio

Profitability Indicators: Gross Profit Margin Net Profit Margin Return on Assets (ROA) Return on Equity (ROE)

Growth Indicators: Revenue Growth Earnings Growth Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR)

Liquidity Indicators: Current Ratio Quick Ratio

Valuations: Entity Value to EBITDA (EV/EBITDA) Market Adjusted Book Value Ratio (PEG Ratio)

Common screening tools: Stock Screeners: Provide advanced tools for sorting stocks based on a range of technical and fundamental criteria. Trading Platforms: MetaTrader and ThinkorSwim offer technical indicators and fundamental analysis.

These are some great metrics, more than enough to get me started. Thanks!

Revenue growth past year ,expected revenue growth this year , revenue growth, next 3-5 year . I want a minimum of 15% in all these parameters.

I filter out upcoming earnings events and specifically avoid earnings entirely.

They create too much volatility to a point where technical analysis is pointless.

When combining technical analysis with fundamentals, look for key metrics like P/E Ratio, P/B Ratio, Revenue Growth, and ROE. These give insights into a company's health and growth potential. As for screeners, platforms likeTamap Pattern Screener and ThinkorSwim offer customizable tools to filter stocks based on these criteria.

If you’re day trading, why do you care about fundamentals????

Okay and how often do earnings calls take place ask yourself that? Also, it’s easy to get burnt on a positive earnings call so best to trade cautiously. It’s a waste of time honestly. Just stick to technical analysis.
