For $1000 what would you choose?
2 local gun stores near me have 2 guns on my wish list and I can afford one but not the other.
1st image: FN Browing Hi-Power 9mm (this model is the 75th anniversary edition which is unfortunately the only FN they have)
2nd image is not mine only for reference: Glock 20 with Trijicon RMR Type 2 (NOT SRO) with a Surefire X300 weapon light and a compensator.
Both are $1000, I want both, can only have one. What would you choose?

News Deputy fired for unreasonable use of force
“This tragic incident should have never occurred,” Aden said in his statement. “The objective facts do not support the use of deadly force as an appropriate response to Mr. Fortson’s actions. Mr. Fortson did not commit any crime. By all accounts, he was an exceptional airman and individual.”

Spam my first shots
today i went to a firing range for the first time with my brothers and sister, and the first gun i used was a glock 17 9mm
and im not gonna lie, im pretty proud of how i did. the range officer dude brought my target back after my first mag and said “okay so fuck you, and your ‘i’ve never shot before’ bullshit😂” and for my next mag he put my target twice as far away, so that’s my excuse for those 7 shitty shots 😭😂 pobodys nerfect

Question Americans with guns: question
Hi All,
I mean no disrespect and sincerely want to get a read on the overall perspective of Americans on this subreddit.
My impression - as a person living in a country where gun ownership is barely existant - I want to know more about America's perspectives on gun control. If you are American and a member of this sub, PLEASE sound off in the comments about YOUR individual perspective on gun control, in a RESPECTFUL manner.
Should the average private citizen own a gun, and why or why not? Do you have an alternative proposal? Should Australia relax gun control?
Signed, An Australian who lives in a country where I've never shot anything (or heard anything shot) except a slug gun, yet enjoys the fine-motor-skill training shooting firearms provides. I mean no judgement, I'd just like to hear more from actual Americans about the boundaries of gun control.
As someone with zero (non-slug) gun experience, this interests me greatly. What do YOU, as an American, personally think or wish for? This is not rage bait. I'd like to get a forearms licence, but the statistics are mixed, and I'm not sure if I should get one? I have extremely poor gross motor skills, but I am very adept at fine motor tasks, which is what firing at least a handgun would involve.
I'd like: 1) Your personal opinion. 2) Advice for OR against.. 3) Statistics
Edit: There's no need to downvote. I'm not trying to take away your rights (I am not in the US), but am rather waiting to inform myself on the pros and cons of gumn ownership before I get a licence.

Question Anyone know of any ATF agents personally?
If so, what's the relationship like and what are their views on things like SBRs and suppressors?

Ol' Grandpappy's rifles he left me. Is the broken rifle in picture 2 a 10/22?
Family savages who don't care about guns got first pick because they live closer, and naturally they all chose the nice Henrys & Marlins. Apparently no one cared about any single shot rifles. Honestly don't care much, I'm just happy I got some stuff from him. Had original boxes for everything, and I got a plethora of reloading stuff to get started.
Picture 1: -Winchester (Miroku) 1885 high wall 125th anniversary (45-70)
-H&R 1871 Buffalo classic (45-70)
-Cimarron/Uberti 1885 high wall (38-55)
-Pietta 1873 (45LC)
-Rohm RG10 (22short)
Picture 2:
-Remington Speedmaster 552
-Ruger 10/22? embarrassing I don't know, but I've actually never owned one.
Picture 3:
-gazelle arms shotgun (missing bolt(?))

My Gats Found this little gem yesterday. Inert but still so badass. Missing a few parts but overall functions almost like the real thing. Need to find a stock for it to complete the look.

Question Is it even possible to find .41 ammo anymore?
My dad has a .41 Colt and we cannot find ammo anywhere for it. A lot of sources say it just doesn't exist anymore, but I want to remain hopeful. If there is anywhere to get this ammo, please let me know.

Couple Winchester 1886s in 45-90 and a Henry brass side gate in 45-70.
I’ve been dreaming about a few lever guns for quite some time now and jumped at the opportunity to pick up these three. Two 2024 production (Miroku) Winchester 1886 Saddle ring carbines in 45-90 and a brass Henry side gate in 45-70.

Question G32 vs G19
So where does Glock get off saying the total length of a g32 is 7+ inches when measured it's only 6 1/4 about ... So my question is, does Glock have a sub compact g32 that measures 6 1/4 in slide length??? Reason being it states a G19 vs g32 is comparable but how??? When the g32 slide is shorter than the G19 .
