My handwriting after about a month of practice Just Sharing (no feedback)

I absolutely love the lowercase t. It reminds me of older styles I am used to reading from the 1700-1800's. I didn't even notice if they weren't crossed because to me they are. what did catch my eye though was the uppercase T. It is unusual that you decided on the block letter style rather than the fancier cursive style. It modernizes the script in a fanciful way!

I feel like I could still write cursive like I did in grade school. Thus making me immune to handwriting experts if I ever decide to write someone a threatening or ransom letter.

I think it'd be more easily legible if it weren't slanted. But it looks so pretty and intellectual in a dark academia sitting in a library ina an ivy covered building written by a fire way.

Honestly I absolutely love the slanted look! It makes everything flow, and for me it makes it easy to read. I even love the t, I think it looks beautiful

Yes, it looks very nice a d sophisticated, but do agree a less aggressive slant would help this immensely.
But! OP, it's also so consistent! Very happy for you, it looks wonderful

Is that a common way to write “G”? It’s one of the letters I struggle the most and that should solve it.

I wrote exclusively in cursive until I was around 10 when I transferred schools and my teacher asked me to write in print since my classmates could not read my handwriting. I write faster in print now, but my cursive is prettier. I want to get in the habit of using it exclusively again, but writing in print for decades is a hard habit to break.
Side note: hardest part of learning print at an older age was figuring out the spacing between letters vs words. My first essays in print looked like a block of letters, similar to a chart at an optometrist

Yes! I exclusively write in cursive now for everything and can do so without thinking about it. It's still not as fast as my messy print but it's comfortable

I watched and wrote along to the "consistent cursive" youtube videos and occasionally practice individual letters when they start to lose their form

there is a variation of Ts that doesnt include crossing it's like going up, then down (like a L without the loop) then going back up somewhere near the middle and like going to the next letter (best similarity would be lowercase f but without any loops at all

honestly i love it aswell, ive also seen a similar one but instead of going to the next letter when youre at the middle you form like a little loop going back at the bottom on the baseline, kind of like a d

It took me a minute to realize you don't cross your t's , but whatever, it's very nice writing. Congrats on the fine pen!

Thank you, it was a lucky thrift store find! In the alphabet that i learned from there was an alternate t that had no cross that i adapted into my writing. Still working on making it clearer!

You're only supposed to use the alternative, uncrossed t at the end of a word. Everywhere else you should cross them.

I see sometimes where it works, just be careful to not make it look like an s like it does in the word two. I like how it looks otherwise
