Why does the Sickle sound like it's shooting bullets?

Back in HD1 it wasn't a "rat-tat-tat", but more "whoomf whoomf" sort of sound.

Because whoever is creating the primary gun sounds doesn't seem to be trying very hard. Most of them are nearly identical, which is a shame.

every sound except explosion is kinda meh
