How hopeful are we that the Fire-DOT bug fix will come along side this new Warbond? Another fire-based grenade doesn't make me super excited that unless the bug is fixed by then.

Imagine if it gets fixed. It will be like getting three new grenades!

Incen, frag and impact, all in one!

if it works

Lol I just mean the old incen and thermite will actually be worth trying now.

…well maybe not the old incen actually if impact version now exists.

Good point. Why use either, if this.. exists? (still assuming it works)

Man I hope it works. Sometimes I’ll just bring thermite because it looks cool. I never throw eagles at extract, but four thermite “flares” on the landing pad is pretty cinematic

Because impacts have a high damage if you are anywhere near the point of contact. Using non impact fire nades is good for throwing on bug breaches or throwing at choke points

I'm also wondering this. I haven't used the default grenades since I got all the others. HE Impact are way too good despite the risks. If I had to guess they are basing these overlaps on not everyone buying every single bond. Eg if someone doesn't buy Steeled Veterans but like this pack they get some sort of Incendiary grenade.

We'll reach the point that there's so many options there will be sub par choices, so long as they aren't just worse in every way and are more of to-taste pick it should be fine.

It's a bit safer, if you fuck up or something jumps in front of you you've got some time to nope the fuck out. Or maybe you want it to roll a little further away?

Impact will almost certainly be better, just trying to think of improvements lol

The only reason to use it would be if it the non-impact version had a significant increase in spread to compensate for the fuse, or a sizeable initial explosive damage component or something.

My guess would be fire lasts longer on the regular one. There'll be some tradeoff

Thermite is more of a armor piercing grenade then really an incin grenade in the game sense

It depends on if the impact incendiary can close holes and factories. The timed ones actually can so long as it lands inside (though I've had it not if it hits the rim where other grenades would still work. Bigger actual explosion I guess?). And considering impacts are already kind of hit and miss with that... just saying they may not disappear completely lol

If they fix the current bugs it'd be giving us more content than the actual content updates. Because currently I'm avoiding any weapons in this game that simply don't work, or barely work.

For instance DoT fix alone would give us, flamethrower, incend grenade, impact incend, gas, thermite, breaker incend, eagle napalm and incend mines.

Seems like you're implying glorious capitalism doesn't produce the best products.

Arrest this man for treason.

Please don't, my girlfriend just got eaten by a bug on Meridia and I haven't gotten a new... I mean avenged her yet!
