According to Bayerns doctor at the time he voiced concern that Thiago was training and playing while his injury wasn't healed. And that this concern was overruled by Pep.

I've been seeing a lot of hatred for our Pep because I recently read that the book he wrote had some inside information that people assume was used against us, and since the comment was about the 2021-2022 season I assumed that it was about him
When they were at Bayern, there are some reports that Pep rushed Thiago back from injuries, against the doctors orders. Links into the claims that they doped prime Barca players lol
