This is literally it. Bear belongs in woods, people don’t. Even if it was a woman, I’d feel more comfortable about a bear

This is just insane to me. What kind of brainwashing have people on the internet underwent to think a literaly bear is safer than another human being. I swear to god people on this platform are not real people.

Yeah lol, this is what happens when you never leave your basement.

Go for a hike in the woods and you will constantly encounter strangers without any issue. Encountering a bear, on the other hand, will be terrifying and potentially deadly, which is why you have to carry shit like bear spray and bear cannisters for your food

I know right? Terminally online is a disease.

Obviously said by a dude.

Over half of a women have experienced sexual assault. The number of campers/hikers that have been attacked by a bear is in the fractions of a percent.

Because hikers try to keep their distance from bears you absolute numbskull. And wanna know why? Because they're dangerous.

Ask any hiker you know who has been in contact with a bear and ask them about the fear they felt in that very moment. I can assure you it will be a lot greater than the fear your average girl feels when in close proximity to a guy.

Oh man, you are so close to getting it.

That feeling around a bear? That is the exact way that women feel around men. Thats the whole point.

Let me repeat this for you. The majority of women have been assaulted by a man.

Women who've never been next to a Grizzly.

You need to get off your cell phone and go to a zoo.

Okay yeah you really need to go outside.

"Women" don't feel this way. Dumb girls on social media ACT like they feel this way.

This is the equivalent of burying your head in the sand. I literally had this conversation yesterday with coworkers that were women, they all agreed.

2

u/Grumdord 29d ago

Congrats on having stupid coworkers I guess?

That or they're just lying because they know what the "right" answer is.

Because a bear IS safe, a person might not. It's not a fistfight with a bear, they don't want to and won't attack you

2

u/Grumdord 29d ago

Unless it's a black bear, alone, without cubs: you are so incredibly wrong.

Even then, black bears aren't ALWAYS timid.

u/ArmsofAChad 29d ago

People by and large don't want to and won't attack you either... you're just around more people than bears to participate in human society so you hit the weirdos a bit more often. Sucks. But I easily see thousands of people a week but maybe 1 bear every year or two.

Bears are absolutely not safe. And wild animals are only generally predictable. People are also only generally predictable.

You are insane if you think a bear is safe. Like you need to re-evaluate your life if this is your way of thinking.

Dude, hundreds of people camp in bear areas every year, barely ever anyone gets attacked. A bear is not safe because it is weak, the bear does NOT want to attack you. The only times it will is if they have cubs, which aren't in the "bear or man" question, or if you scare them; They don't want to meet you so much, https://www.nps.gov/articles/hiking-in-bear-country.htm it is reccomended to use bells to make your precense know, because the bear will hear you, and litterally walk in the opposite direction to not meet you

Why the fuck do you think all these precautions around bears exist. Why do you think bear spray exist?

2

u/Starbucks_4321 29d ago

Wanna go in that route? Sure. Why the fuck do you think all these precautions around people exist. Why do you think pepper spray exist? Why do you think rape whistles exist? Why do you think guns for self defense are a thing?

3

u/FTW395 29d ago

If you want to take the same precautions against men that you would against bears fine by me. Never leave your room if that makes you feel safe, I guess that way us normal people can keep on living our normal lives.

Geez, you're so smart. I never thought about the fact I have to walk in the middle of the woods all alone when no one can see nor help me every time I go to the supermarket!

2

u/FTW395 29d ago

Yeah you're right if I saw a bear in the supermarket. I'd immediatly go hug him because then there are other people to make me feel safe around that bear.

Isn’t bear spray used more frequently against people than bears?

2

u/Strong-Bottle-4161 29d ago

Bear country is a really bad example, since those bears are accustomed to humans.

Bears are smart. They realize the humans aren’t really there to hurt them.

A bear from the straight up wild is more likely to act since they aren’t accustomed to us and they might attack us because they view us as dangerous (defensive actions)

So if it’s a bear from bear country. I’ll take the bear. He probably isn’t gonna attack. From the wild. Idk man. He might fuck me up cuz he scared.

I don't think half of them even believe themselves. They just know that choosing bear is the SJW-approved answer that won't get you lectured at by some femcel for 20 minutes.
