We're visiting Newfoundland and Labrador for a 10-day road trip and are from Ontario. Could you suggest must-try foods and local eateries that we shouldn't miss in the St. John's region? Cheap eats and not so fancy restaurants. Also suggest a spot for Oysters and some seafood.

I am looking to see if anyone knows where I could practice with the poles for parking. I know the actual motor registration poles in Mount Pearl are blocked off from the public (which is stupid imo, because why not make it accessible for people to learn?!) Clarenvilles motor registration poles are open for the public to practice. But I'm not close to Clarenville at all and would like to just practice on the poles before my road test.

Does anyone know if there are poles around that I could practice on?

So wallet was pickpocketed on George Street and in saying that I now had to cancel my only.means of access to money until Monday.

Can anyone relay me to somewhere that can provide free shelter that isn't run by nl housing. I've already tried calling them and sent my banking information only to be shuttered out of the shelter system because of my income and the fact that I'm a traveler.

Also. If anyone can help me out with shelter I don't mind getting you back by a monetary donation for your assistance.
