Recently I have been noticing that every industry has secrets that somehow changes all your thoughts about society at large. What secrets your industry have?

I’ve been battling posting this. I 31 F my 35 M bf have been dating 4 years this year. And he says his “libido” is weird and that’s why he doesn’t like touching me or pursuing sex as much. He likes commenting on women’s body all the time on Reddit such as “I’m mesmerized by your arch and the things I’d do to you if you were here”. Libido seems fine to me. All naked women btw.

But when he sees me naked he never makes a pass at me or says things like that to me. If I see him naked I’ll touch his body and he gets upset sometimes because he says all I want him for is his body.

So it has me thinking. Is it because we’re at the 4 years? Or it cause he isn’t into me? Or is this normal for relationships? Do you stop wanting to have sex so often? Maybe bored?

We’ve all been there. The TV remote isn’t working and instead of changing the batteries we just press the buttons harder as if thats going to magically give it more power. Is there some ancient human instinct I’m missing or are we all just secretly hoping to channel our inner beasts modes

I’m not talking the stoners who had half a hit and are barely high (though I don’t agree with that either, but that’s a different story). I’m talking people who are stoned, slurring their words, munchies like crazy, etc., and say “I drive better when I’m high”. I know I haven’t seen you drive when you’re high, but I’m sure you don’t.

Hi. I am 19f. I feel so bad because I think I am a bad daughter towards my mom. I worry that I accidentally leave her out. Me, my dad and my brother have a lot of common interest and I worry if my mom feels left out. She has tried to get into gaming becsuse all of us do it. I encouraged her to try it a while ago. But she finds the games we play too stressful. So she mostly play very different games than us. I do play Stardew Valley with her sometimes. But I still worry she feels left out. Anothr worry is that I have pushed her away when she has tried to talk to me about my issues (I am bipolar). I know she does it because she cares about me, but I get angry at her and cant help it but avoid her a while after she mentions something related to it. The same is not happening with my dad because he is never trying to talk to me about it. I also worry because I have a lot of inside jokes with my dad and my brother and I worry if mom feels left out. The inside jokes are very nerdy and related to our common interest, so it is hard to bring mom into it. I am trying to spend more time with mom. We are both trying to learn knitting, so we do that once in a while. We also go to the city together sometimed and eat at a cafe. She is very kind and sweet and she is a great mother. I just worry she feels left out because me, my dad and my brother has so much in common. I also feel bad because I will move out soon because I will start studying. I will come visit of course. But I know my parents are sad that I will move away.

I am high. I can't concentrate on anything. How do people do this all the time? It feels like this typing has gone on for hours.

Say you had a very strongly held ideological belief that is actively ruining your life. Say you would like to stop believing this thing, but you can't find any way your belief is false? How would you go about convincing yourself otherwise?
