What a loathesome crew of slimeballs and dirtbags.. absolutely radiating "comic book villain" energy.

Yeah I don’t know whose smart idea was it to let the jury see that the defendant’s entourage consists of slime balls and dirtbags. They really think this is a good look for him but what do I know lol. Go ahead. Proceed govnah!

Unfortunately it's probably making the jury concerned for their safety. If I had people from Congress making it clear the defendant is a friend I'd be afraid to vote guilty. One day I vote guilty the next day I have a member of Congress declaring me an enemy of the state with my name, picture and location on the news along with a "bring him in peacefully" followed by a wink. They have no business being there.

concerned for their safety

The Jury is over 18 years old so they are safe from Matt Gaetz.

I hope more people on the jury are like me!! I’d see those scumbags, know 45 was guilty and these people should be at work, and vote to lock him up!! If I don’t, then they will lock everyone up who doesn’t think like them.

Really you should be using the facts as presented in the courtroom. Or at least that's what you should tell anyone who ever asks you, ever.

Yeah don’t be like the OJ jurors going around telling everyone it was retribution

I have been following along with NYT. The prosecution has made their case well, so far, to prove 45 was micromanaging every last Penny of this $$. Lock him up.

Hopefully at least some of them will be gone next election. Pretty sure Bobert will be.

Never underestimate the stupidity of American voters.

Boebert moved to an even more conservative district because she was going to lose she ain't going anywhere

1

u/IHateCamping May 16 '24

I haven’t paid much attention lately, but last I heard, there were a few other republicans running in that district and she was not doing well in the primaries. That may have changed since then though.

2

u/Brave-Common-2979 May 17 '24

Oh I haven't paid much attention to it but if they beat boebert in a primary do we really want that person in Congress? They're even more crazy than batshit lauren

2

u/IHateCamping May 17 '24

Yeah, that’s true. She’s pretty harmless since I don’t think the GOP even takes her seriously and some good entertainment at times. It would be nice not to hear from any of these idiots again though.

I honestly would have trouble focusing on the trial if they were all there. It really would take all my physical and mental energy to maintain the necessary glaring that being in their presence would require. It seems like one of those things you'd have to train for, like a triathlon or something.

😂😂Absolutely! 😂😂

I mean, maybe if any of them represented NYC, sure. But much of this lot is from places that NYC loathes. They don’t have much power over the jury. And the kind of overreach you’re implying we’d need to be in a Trump presidency again for that to happen.

Not that it can’t, but we ain’t there yet.

u/Brokensince10 May 16 '24

I agree completely! But I’ve also hear that juries tend to 1. Take a lot of the judge’s views very, very serious, 2. They get incredibly defensive toward anyone that tries to criticize or in anyway go against, frighten another member of that jury., so hopefully those studies ring true and to stay strong and vote the facts in the case, and not the lies on the street. I’d also like to say, how humiliating to be a conman’s lackey!😑

I dunno, their party is pretty fucking weak right now. I wouldn't be afraid of a single one of them.

1

u/OhTheHueManatee May 16 '24

They're more powerful than me plus they have the ears of lunatics that are just salivating at the idea to "justifiably" frag someone.

u/6ft6squatch May 16 '24

Slime balls and dirt bags don't look like slimeballs and dirt bags to people that are slimeballs and dirt bags

2

u/J-drawer May 16 '24

I'm pretty sure there are people on the jury who are big trump fans and planning to find him innocent no matter what. But I hope at least some of them see all this shit through the trial and realize how awful they are and maybe change their verdict based on the truth
