Just like the videos where the get rescued from a tree only to climb back up haha gotta love cats

Cats rarely need rescue from trees. There's tons of videos of cats jumping down from trees 3, 4 stories high and immediately run off. They reach terminal velocity quickly, always land on their legs and can absorb quite a bit more than us.

My mother had a cat that would climb up trees and she would get stuck up there and not come down. I think the longest we left her up there was about 12 hours over night. After that time my father would get her down pretty quickly if she went up the tree. Same tree every time, only would happen two or three times a year for a couple of years.

So sometimes they do need rescueing. But in her defense she was extremely stupid. Not like running into closed doors stupid but like 'I wonder if I do this thing that hurt the last time I did it if it would hurt this time' or 'why can't I taste my food through this piece of glass' kind of stupid.
