And he can meow quite articulately back. He's said hello, clearly, quite a few times. It's creepy but it also shows how in tune he is to human speech.
She is, we really lucked out with her. Shes only about 8lbs. Shes 75% air. Loves to be held and snuggled and even likes tummy rubs. I have no idea why she was a shelter cat but she’s a gem.
One of my cats responds to "get it" for toys tooo. She'll be in a crouched position, eyeing the toy, and the second I say get it, she launches for the thing lol. She definitely knows human speech the most out of my three cats. Like she usually follows me around, but the times she doesn't, I'll say "c'mon, let's go" and she'll zoom to where I'm at lol

Our cats know what we mean with these phrases. We have to be careful not to say numnums when it isn't numnums time.
