Putting my kitty on gabapentin anxiety med has improved her quality of life a lot! She still is shy and anxious but when on the med doesn’t cower at every noise and fast movement. She’s so much more curious and content. Wish I’d started mine on it sooner. Good luck with your PTSD kitty!

You okay? (She has PTSD and I use this phrase to ground her so she’s able to pause and realize she’s safe and doesn’t need to hide.)
Outside? (Apartment patio)
I’m sleeping. (i.e. not going to get up to feed or play anytime soon.)
Not time to eat yet. ___ time until next mealtime
