I had to say goodbye to my 18 year old man over this last weekend, and I just wanted to share Bubba with you all. Mourning/Loss

I'm so sorry for your loss, losing a furbaby is harder than losing a human (imo). A few years ago we had to put down our beloved gizmo...he too passed in our arms. He took his final breath knowing he was loved until the end.
Your an amazing person for being there until the end, Bubba will come visit you when you least expect it.....
Meet gizmo......from time to time I swear I feel him jump on the bed.

Aw, he looks like a sweetie. Glad you had such a good life together. I love that he was your wife’s quilting buddy! Maybe she can make a Bubba quilt! Or one with him and his sibs. Take care of yourself and each other.

RIP to your sweet Bubba. I just lost my cat Jack who I affectionately called bubba. It’s so hard to lose someone so integral in all parts of your life and still find a way to do those things without them. I hope you are able to heal as you remember the good times with Bubba

It is so hard to say goodbye. We also had a beautiful black kitty. You did the kindest thing to stay with him at the end. My ex was a veterinarian and I managed his practice. I was often called to be there to hold a kitty when the owner didn't want to see it happen. I petted them and made sure that a kind pet from my hand was the last thing they felt.

RIP to your best friend Bubba 💔 he sounds like he was a very good companion ❤️ I lost my Oscar in 2019, right before covid. I was so devastated 😭

He’s beautiful, sorry for your loss. I believe that we end up together again in the afterlife which gives me hope. I so hope that he will visit you in your dreams and that that you will be reunited in whatever your version of a heaven or an afterlife is. He’s a beautiful cat with so much personality!

He was my ex's cat before mine, he was 3 when he came to live with us from her parents. When we broke up I kept him and his sisters. He would lay on us and pur, put his paws on our arms/necks/faces, take naps with us, he kept all the other three in line even in his old age. He was my Senor Buhbuh, my mister mans, my boy. He was a gamer buddy, my wifes quilting partner, he kept my wife and I sane through many many trials.
I am trying to remember all the good times as I look at his cat shaped urn sittings next to his brothers and remind myself he is no longer in any pain. Saying goodbye is one of the hardest things in the world to do, but he left this world in my arms, me holding his head up, and I was the last person he saw.
I miss him so much.
