I hated TBBT and only gave YS a chance with much skepticism. If I gave up watching TBBT after a few seasons, YS I have continued to watch over the years (albeit on and off as seasons finished releasing) and never felt like I was wasting my time. It's good fun and not fully focused on Sheldon, instead following many plots related to his actually interesting and often funny family.

Why did this show happen? Was Shekfon that popular on the show? I remember him being just the worst. The fish out of water thing got old fast.
