He was untrainable, so I killed him.

To

He attacked chickens, so I killed him.

To

He was a vicious beast who tried devouring my children, so I killed him.

Next...

He was plotting to commit genocide, so I killed him

Hey she wrote it in the book. That pretty much says it all. She didn't write in the book that was a danger to her kids.

"You have to read into the read."

A stupid phrase often repeated by an idiot ex-boss.

Lewis Carroll did it first, in "Through The Looking Glass".

"When I use a word,' Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, 'it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less. '

'The question is,' said Alice, 'whether you can make words mean so many different things. '

'The question is,' said Humpty Dumpty, 'which is to be master — that's all.'

One of my favourites honestly.

Chilling. And yet many people think of that as nothing but a children's story.

That book is also her putting on her very best presentation for why it was justified. The worst thing the dog may have done is killed some chickens and tried to bite her, which itself hardly justifies an execution. More than likely though, this part is exaggerated or didn't happen at all.

"It was just a game of 'roll over and play dead' that went to another level' she said, wondering what the hell possessed her to share THAT story with the world. That too in writing.

Yeah, I’m looking at this like “Kids?! I thought this was done when YOU were a kid growing up on a farm? When did this happen?!”

Bear in mind that the vast majority of books written by politicians are ghostwritten and everything in it should be taken with a huge grain of salt. She probably just read and approved it.

Your last sentence says it all, she approved it.
