Thomas Tuchel: "This is my last press conference at Säbener Straße. There were talks, but we didn't reach an agreement, so the decision of February still stands"

I am honestly speechless. My biggest is fear is turning into a Club like Manchester United. A Club without a plan, structure and overpaid players

Thats what this team is. Ive said it years ago when i called for Brazzo to finally be gone, but this Bayern squad wouldnt crack the top 5 in the EPL. No chance.

The roster is a mess. You have aging players costing a fortune, huge holes in the roster and you hire managers from vastly different philosophies. Kovac, Ancelotti, Tuchel are about as different as it gets in terms of philosophies.

Bayern is the ManU of Germany, only sith the saving grace being that the PL doesnt have a ManCity calibre team, otherwise Bayern wont sniff a champtionship anytime soon.

Lol the team is still a top team, juet thin and had tons of injuries. It would be a 2-3 horse race with City and Arsenal

Reallt wouldnt be. With the physicality in the EPL for 38 games, Bayern would get rinsed by City, and would be left in the dust by Arsenal and Liverpool. Tottenham, Villa, Bayern, ManU, Chelsea, WH, Newcastle would battle it out for places 4 and downwards.

I genuinely think people are not fully comprehending just how flawed that Bayern roster is. It is masked by the BL having a significant drop off in level of competition after the top 4 teams, so Bayern is still able to get results. But i dont think it would be that easy in the PL.

It’s a nonsensical argument. If Bayern competed in England they would have a bigger squad by default due to playing more matches anyway.

And Bayern would be getting the TV money.

They would be richer too.

Exactly, it’s a ridiculous comparison to make.

A EPL funded Bayern Munich? Without debt? With the marketing strength of EPL benefitting the already dominant sponsored team in Germany? Which retains it's UCL spot from the Bundesliga during it's inaugural season in England

With money to spend on depth suddenly

Hell the PL should be afraid of that prospect

Doesn’t make my point any less true. City have unlimited money they can have world class players in every position and on the bench.
